Hello guys i am new to Paccoin and i am out of Germany.
What does it mean when this is showing up on the Wallet:
Minting suspended due to locked wallet
do i have to unlock and run the wallet 24/7 for the POS reward ?
or does it rewarding offline as well ?
the same for Stronghands wallet ?
sorry if my english isnt that good.
Thanks
Hi Minting suspended due to locked wallet: Your wallet has password, so it cannot start staking/reward go to Help > Debug window and click Console then enter this: walletpassphrase “your-password” 9999999 true example: walletpassphrase i_love_money 999999 true i_love_money is the password do i have to unlock and run the wallet 24/7 for the POS reward ? Yes or does it rewarding offline as well ? No the same for Stronghands wallet ? No Thanks for that fast Reply i wrote it in the console exactly like you wrote it but there is allways an Error. Error: The wallet passphrase entered was incorrect. (code -14) i checked the Password three times and it is correct i just copy it out the file but it didnt work.

Please read previous posts that explain the cause of this situation. Also some seem not to be aware of the things that are about to happen with PAC, despite the fact that this has been posted recently, I will paste this short term history below this. I advise to be patient, all coins go up and down and PAC is definitely a coin with an exceptional potential to go up. Just give it some time, things just get started....
--------- The value of 1 PAC coin is low now (but still 30x higher than 4 weeks ago). PAC can only be traded against whole BTC Satoshi's, so either 1, or 2, or 3 and so on. But the decimals that you want while trading against BTC are not possible. So 1.84593 is not possible.
Friday night February 5, when trading PAC against LightCoin (LTC) just started, the demand for PAC was so high that the main PAC exchange (Cryptopia) melted and had to close trading ANY coin against LTC or DOGE. PAC was worth 0.000322 USD at the highest level, > 3000% more than just one week before. Since this meltdown of Cryptopia, PAC can only be traded against BTC on Cryptopia. And like I just explained that is not a good pair. Even after all those days, Cryptopia still not recovered from the run for PAC. On March 1, the PAC redemption will start and 3 zeros of the price will dissapear. Only as of that moment trading PAC-BTC will be possible in a more appropriate way.
According to the most recent information that I read on Discord, Cryptopia will open LTC/DOGE trading again within 2 weeks.
Current schedule: - January 13: selection of the logo for the new PAC coin in the logo contest - January 15: Launch #PacFyle (social network) - January 19: Live broadcast Q & A - February 1: Issue of #whitepaper - March 1: Hard fork
@Jaycee_nl, Thanks. Please give us updates often. I start to get more answers and see the light coming from the other side of the tunnel. And, it is definitely there. haha.

One possibility is that your passphrase has a blank space or gap. In such a case, all you need to do is to put "" to keep it intact. Like this "I Love PAC" not I Love PAC Good luck.

What a reborn coin. Can't wait for whitepaper. I want lots of GitHub commits too. If devs continue putting hard work to the table, we will have a bright future. Market is here!

I'm not familiar with the crypto tech, does this mean that who has the highest pile of coins gets the staking power? IE., large holder gain pos coins and such coins over write those pos of smaller coins owners? Very likely, a large holder will get the next 1-3 block rewards corresponding to the large chunks of ( and higher-weighted) coins assigned for the POS, immediately after he/she starts staking (minting), but once rewarded, the large portions of coins will no longer be eligible for staking until next time of days or weeks of holding periord for that portion of coins to be used again. There should be less input for staking as time passed, to the point that if you (" with the other wallet") just start staking at that point, you might have a higher staking weight to get the next block. It is a matter of chance; therefore, your chance of getting rewards immediately starting staking is much, much lower, but even if both start at the same time, there might be a time say one hour later, the one having only, say 1/10 of total coin balance of the other wallet client, would have almost the same amount of coin weight to get the next reward which you are supposed to get anyway. It might takes longer if there are many, many higher coin-weight wallet starting the staking during the time you are in. As you can see, the one with extremely small amount of coin might not get a reward for quite a few months but by the time, you would have much higher amount of holding-time and staking power.

If I understand correctly, that people with big pile will have lower coins/wattage (which is fair per POS), but is the main concern like this? 1. Smaller miner starts at height 1000, he's digging away 2. Big miner finds the block at 1000 and 1001 3. Smaller miner is now mining 1001, which has been mined by the big miner 4. So the smaller miner is always doing catch up My apologies for not being a smart person...

I think that's the exact reason of having master nodes and the fork ( in addition to the requirement of having to infuse capitals to buy and hold 2 Billion Pac, close to 20 BTC.)

Tell me how will the old coins be exchanged for new ones. Will there be a mobile version of the wallet? On the computer is a very heavy purse. I hope the developers will release an updated version of the wallet.
