As for me personally it is simple to understand. When you give your money any bank in your country you are not shure that they are safe. The same thing is with investing into Bitcoin, but was one thing, you can return your money in every moment you want. Which banks are sedation very different. They have some rules and floors in their system.

When it comes in security in investment Bitcoin is best for it, that's the reason choose to invest in Bitcoin because they know once they invest to it they can bring huge profit to them and their investment is really secured. For me only Bitcoin has safe investment, so i recommend dont waste your time for a finding a good coin to invest because you might get a scam investment, so it better if you invest to those coin that  lots of people are believed and trusted.

I think before doing anything investment you have to understand the project very well, asking questions, know whether what they are going to used your money is something worth investing on. Then do calculation on your turn of your investment. But talking about investing money on bitcoin, I think the risk involve is only 2% because of the challenge or drop of price... Bitcoin will surely goes back to normal and your bitcoin is secure in your wallet. So there is not fear in doing such investment.

Aside from hackers, I can say investing bitcoins are totally risky, Price fluctuations in bitcoin spot rate in bitcoin exchanges is driven by many factors, Volatility is measured in traditional markets by the volatilty index. Volatility in bitcoin does not yet have a generally accepted index since cryptocurrency as an asset class is still in nascent stages, Another is the " Volatility is the rate of adoption is hampered by bad press".

Safe from hackers, or safe for your investment. I would like to look into your question in two different ways.
The first one, store your btc and keep it in a wallet in a computer which you are not used to go online, that will be the safest way, the money you invest will be protected and you could carry it around with you. Unlike other currency, like gold or money, with BTC, it only requires a space in your bag for a small USB or something like that. Keep it carefully and you are fine.
For the second one, I don't think it safe, there are too much change in price, the gap between each time is pretty huge, you might lost about 2/3 of your assets to a period.

I don't think you can ever expect to make sure that your money is safe when investing in an instrument like Bitcoin! Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and is highly volatile as a result the money that you put will increase or decrease quite rapidly. As a result, if you are into short term investing then it is extremely risky! But for a long term investment strategy putting your money in Bitcoin is excellent in my opinion. However, to come back to your question the best bet to be safe if you are investing is when putting money in government bonds, they are super safe but the return is very low. Hope this helps!

You can make sure that your investment is safe in terms of cryptocurrency if you will follow the recommendation for investing in cryptocurrency like having a strong password which consists of capital and small letters, special characters and also numbers and also having a back up of your wallet file and recovery phrase.

I'm adding that it is better to stay away from suspicious sites especially those websites that you receive from e-mails because a lot of hackers are cloning some trusted sites and sent it to people as a phishing site for bait. In my personal experience, I always receive tons of e-mails from random persons and some hackers that replicate exchanges and asks to click the link that they have sent to make my account more secure and blah blah. I also recommend having a paper wallet (where your address, pk or seeds are written)that you can keep in the safest place at your home and be sure to also have a backup in case you'll lose it.

In my own opinion we cannot make sure that our money we invest in bitcoin is safe because many of all site are scam and doesn't have assurance to earn so be careful to all investment before you invest just do a research and proof of payouts and assure that the site is legit. True, the currency of the crypto currency meets International Security standards through the following stages:
1.Storage '' deep freeze '' This is a multi-signature wallet.
2.Hot wallet, multi signature custodian.
3.Password (make sure to use a strong password when registering).
4.2 factor bias (2FA) to provide additional security.
5. company security principle.
6.Personal information by including such as ID number, name and scan of identity documents.
I think the security is already difficult for hackers to penetrate and possibly very secure.
