We are at the highest percent difference as compared to BTC since January, but nothing approaching last summer.
$200 is an interesting psychological level, though.
At this moment, GBTC is trading at 222$ , that's a big increase on difference with bitcoin, and a big increase on its price from 2 days ago. Yea, but if BTC goes parabolic, like it seems it is, it could really get interesting. |

It's gaining its premium over BTC again, which seems to fit the idea that GBTC is going to be the best we get on this front for a while.

I got lucky and caught the top of the latest premium peak, taking some profits a little over a week ago. It's still hanging in there pretty well, though.

Yes if outside an IRA and you want to avoid short term capital gains tax. |

GBTC is up almost 4% on the day so far. I think it will continue to be strong as its the only way people can get exposure to it who have IRA's and stock trading accounts.
People bought that dip to 370 when it opened, and now it's touched a higher intraday percent diff versus BTC than where the diff was on Thursday's close. I'm currently like notme, waiting for the premium to shrink.  |

Good thing I have plenty of the real thing instead of overpriced shares that decay in BTC terms.
That's good to hear. I'm currently short even BTC proper, and cash poor, so I may get wrecked in terms of the opportunity cost if this keeps up. |
