It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.

Yeah I agree and some is not scam its just that they are not able to  get the target which is really happening to most . I think if that happened the CEO and team will just decide to leave the project and get the funds they get that's why it turned out to be scam .

Definitely, mostly of coins are scam that's why we need to be careful in choosing and joining bounty campaigns because we knows already that scam is everywhere so right now we need to choose wisely so we can't be regretful. Find a reliable and promising project so we won't regret from it.

I think there should be a body in place that will review all this new project coming out before they can sell their token or coin to the general public

How is that hard to believe? This is a largely unregulated space where anonymity is easy and people can get away with stuff. Of course fraud is going to run rampant. That's why you have to do extra due diligence

There are many fake projects. But that is why it is not critical to think of them all. Not all frauds! Burning simply has failed projects.

Because it is so kind of the market, there is no regulation of SEC or some laws fro crypto, that's why many scam coins will appear every day.

The more widespread the ICO (Initial Coin Offering) at this time makes some people will be a little confused to choose which ICO is the best and the recommendation for us to choose is invested as the most appropriate product or project we hope for later.
Little can you read:

* Developer Team, Marketing Manager, Communication Team, Community Team, Team Analysis and so on - Their identity and profile must be clear, check whether there is a video or photo of the office, company address or photo of the project team.

* Lawyer Team or Project Advisor - Advisor is an important element too. In this case you must know the track record of the Project advisory team, they should not be exposed to the SCO ICO, they must have a good reputation, fame and be ready to defend the project's interests.
If previous advisers are often seen on useless sites and the like, this is clearly a fraud.

for those who are new to crypto, please be careful before investing, because every loss that bears is yourself, learn a lot so that we are not exposed to ICO fraud, even though it is difficult to know which is original and what is false, it is still a lot of learning, because crypto is not as easy as seen and imagined, be careful to jump on an ICO,

In crypto many people is like that and people too are not learn from that mistake they always take a risk because of money. And the scammer is happy that many people are believe to them. Always think before you invest and always research before you invest.

well, do not invest in ICO if you do not have enough knowledge to determine if project is legit or scam

Scam coins are created because they want to take advantage of the fact that some users are gullible and they are baiting those who are excited to have money. They target this users to give more than what they can actually receive and some users that pay does not even receive something at all which can lead into scam's and losses of personal money. We need to at least make sure that the founders behind those Alternate Coin being made is at least legit.

As long as money is involved, there will always be con men who are intent on robbing others. It therefore behooves on the investor to do his due diligence especially on the part of ICO before investing in any project. This will save him from unforeseen danger of con men and fraudulent activities of project owners.

Right now, since the very strong trend worldwide is cryptocurrency, a large part of them are also here. We have to also step up our efforts in doing an extremely careful research of ICOs to invest.
