Many thanks SG!

As yet the 7th of Dec's BitLotto hasn't paid out, I believe it would work better if the funds were guaranteed to be sent within 1 week of the draw or at the very least within a week of the winner being announced, preferably much sooner, otherwise it becomes rather random & may deter entrants to the next & future Bitlottos:

https://blockchain.info/address/1HannaheRa46n6g532kRo9GmnmD5aLUt5j

I know, sorry. I really do try to pay right away. My internet sucks and I've almost caught up again in the blockchain. It should be there in a few days I'm sure. I think I'm just going to leave to software always running so it doesn't get behind. It's very frustrating for me.

I can't believe your luck Otoh!

okies np, I hardly deal with the client at all & just use blockchain.info wallet mostly so I don't need to load the blockchain or deal with annoying quirks like where the wallet creates new random addresses to send change to or where I can't easily just find the private keys to addresses that are in it.

re lucky, well I had overall bet 18 btc last month out of the 41.58 btc total so I was in with about a 43% chance of winning (slightly more as 2/3 of that was in the pools - but for lower potential shared wins mostly), but yes it did seem rather lucky even so given past wins - maybe it's the auspicious astro dates that I choose Wink Also as I treated bets for Hannah as a separate series it demonstrated well the 99% being returned to the players as I'd bet 45 btc in total for her & finally won 41.58 btc or 92.4% back (so far) though better in dollar terms.

blockchain.info would be more convenient but then I'm having to trust a third party. Oh well.

Any ways check the account now! It should be there!

Good luck next month! Wink

Yep received, many thanks to all!

I believe that blockchain.info wallets are all crypto-ed on your computer so have a very high level of security even if something were to happen to the site provider, but I'm not up on the tech side - just enough from what I've heard from others makes me happy to trust them & it's nice & easy to keep backup copies elsewhere of the private keys for addresses on those wallets. Also I sign in with Lastpass pro with yubi key which I'd also highly recommend.

Good luck to all next month! Wink

Edit: This is the info re security when using blockchain.info wallets to make sure that thier Javascript hasn't been messed with & for adding 2FA etc:

Yes.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Was this the address for the Jan Pirate Pool?

http://blockchain.info/address/1pMZJi4eA144ChzXtsS8sCzrJADcXeAWR

which received 6.644 btc in total ---> 6.75 btc with top up.

& with the very first bet there from 13mLYBrRZ3fQzTCvr3araxZPRbBZxbCNG8 of 0.2 btc winning it for the pool.

Edit, just remembered/worked out all 6.75 btc from the pool use that first tx to generate hashes from, as per the How the hashes are done for pools info.

& which win 35.39/6.75 = 5.242962 per btc bet or approx 0.5243 btc per 0.1 btc bet each, or a fraction more if your 0.1056 btc top up contribution isn't counted as a partial winner too.

Edit 2, If it was easy to do then having some of the result's txt file bolded/highlighted would be nice, ie something like this maybe (note, needs a wide screen to view formatting in two columns like the original correctly here):

MIXED HASHES (Determines winner)                                                                 BITCOIN TX HASH

Okay Otoh,

I see all of what you said in the last post but I am not quite understanding how he gets to the "winning" address...
There is a block created after then end of the draw, then he uses mega millions numbers, then for the pool he uses just the FIRST transaction?
How does that make all the other cash count?

Patrick

Edit: kbf also check the 'How the hashes are done for pools' link in my post above or on the BitLotto site which explains how it all works I believe.

Good luck everyone on the Feb draw!

Many thanks, it appears that the PP bet I made on Hannah's behalf this month was the winning hash (if taken in order of the PP bets placed), so lots more good karma to everyone who entered & thanks from my niece too who I gifted some bets for & thanks also from me, much appreciated! Best of luck for the next months to all!

It would appear that the BitLotto Pirate Pool is not going to be operational this month as it seems to have an invalid Bitcoin address that can't be sent to:

https://blockchain.info/address/17YhcYptSF2L48C361dTAMC98UpUGcZ4jPR

Other than that, everything else seems to be fine for the other addresses, suerte Wink

Pot nearly 20 btc (of the new improved > $20 values each coins) atm...

it seems to have an invalid Bitcoin address that can't be sent to:

https://blockchain.info/address/17YhcYptSF2L48C361dTAMC98UpUGcZ4jPR

Doh!  Copy pasta problem it appears.  From the "Valid" addresses (signed by GPG) there is no trailing "R":

It would appear that the BitLotto Pirate Pool is not going to be operational this month as it seems to have an invalid Bitcoin address that can't be sent to:

https://blockchain.info/address/17YhcYptSF2L48C361dTAMC98UpUGcZ4jPR

Other than that, everything else seems to be fine for the other addresses, suerte Wink

Pot nearly 20 btc (of the new improved > $20 values each coins) atm...
Doh! The next ones should work! Wink

It seems that this time it was a bet that I placed for my niece 1ELiZABETH that helped to gain the winning hash, along with Hannah & http://blockchain.info/address/17xD4wFBfMPF23WF6VG7QddLzXpp2MYL88 who's was the first bet on the Stranger's Pool & crucial first pool TX - all on the last day. So more good karma to you all for helping my charity & gift bets this month, it is really much appreciated.
