I'd like to introduce a concept of a new feature called Account Control. This feature will allow to do different things with ur accounts. For example, u will be able to set a lock on an account to prohibit any outgoing transactions until a special condition met (e.g. an incoming transaction from a predefined account). Another example is Pooled Forging, when an account leases its forging power to another account.

I want a way to protect/secure/limit the withdrawal of my coins.

For example, u will be able to set a lock on an account to prohibit any outgoing transactions until a special condition met (e.g. an incoming transaction from a predefined account).

There was suggestion to block outgoing transactions by pushing some public key, associated with account, to blockchain, and unlock with corresponding private key. This allows forging and doesn't requires to create another account. From user's point of view it will be just password, blocking you account from spending money.
In first time I disagreed with this proposition, but now I see how it is good from user's side.

Both features you mentioned are Great. The locked account can be a saving account. Or it could be used as an escrow monitored account as the escrow account is the predefined account. Tremendously helpful.

This allows forging and doesn't requires to create another account. From user's point of view it will be just password, blocking you account from spending money.

The bold functionality is still helpful even if the locked account cannot forge. but maybe i am wrong if the account holder can change the predefined account address at will.

Can it have an option to allow outgoing transasction only if the account receives a transfer in from another account specified:)
so that I can have a small account with 2-3nxt that can unlock my investment account

I hope they read this thread. I'm not going to use that forum, just to reserve the name.

I hate to hear that.... Please everyone dont think we are trying to control things, we are simply trying to promote NXT in a common fashion.  In fact I prefer the community to participate as a whole.  Each member site (www/info/forums) is admined separately by different people with their own ideas and are free to do things.  however, I would like to think that if they go too far off base we as the NXT community will correct it.  SO WE NEED YOUR INPUT FOR THIS TO WORK!
