Want to use your bct.org ID as your ID over on https://forums.nxtcrypto.org but someone is squatting you BCT.org ID?  PM me here asking me to blow away the account there with your ID from over here and I will do it and will also blow away all posts made there as that userID

Dgex has frozen my deposit for 364k nxt

Has this happened to anyone else? I am freaking out because its alot of BTC worth and they are saying something about fraud on their account.

I hope I get it back!

He frozen my whole account 5 days ago for "investigation". Still waiting(( The reason is the same: something about fraud and "illegitimate" coins.

How many coins were frozen?

166k. And I bought them at 0.00013. Lost about 11 BTC for now..

I sent 364k and its frozen  Undecided

I am trading at Dgex since 7th of December and can't say anything bad about it. Pretty sure eveything will be fine.. Just be prepared to wait about a week or so. That is what Graviton said about my case(

Hello guys,

since I like all kinds of bounties and I like learning something new, I started yesterday a little media coverage by spreading our Press Release about Nxt launch.

After 16 hours google search told me about these succesful listings:

Sometimes I registered myself there and also put my nxt video to the text Cheesy :

http://www.quotecoins.com/nxt-official-launch-nxt-genera-381149836.html

(you can recognize "my" version of press release by "Press release: http://www.thenxtcoin.com/NXTOfficialLaunchPressRelease.pdf" at the end of the articles)

- I hope that 10-20 other news will also accept my submission in next hours/days

I really enjoyed this type of marketing, I will continue later, but now back to the nxt myths video Cheesy

Can CfB/JLP comment on VPS requirements for the new 0.5.3 code?  If a hallmarked VPS with say, 30M on the account was running, how much mem would it need? (not my hallmark, BTW, Im hosting someones hallmark for them)
NCC-1701-D is running on 8 GB VPS, with -Xmx6144M, and java is currently using 3065M. On another server I have java is currently using 2124M.

I am going to run some memory profiling again soon to see what is taking how much space and if there is any room for improvement before switching to storing blocks and transactions in a database, which would be a significant change.

Most importantly, there is no evidence in the above case of a random, memory corruption type of bug, as some have feared. Adding checksums as a way to prevent user errors is a different issue, but there has been no memory corruption at play here.
Agree. Good to hear, thanks!

Shocked Why so much? Am I missing something? Why on my PC it only takes 200 M?

All of mine (except node1) are running on 1GB. With this release, for the first time, after I removed *.nxt and disabled my hourly restart, all 100 are in sync or very close (knock on wood!).

I have no idea how long it will last, but it feels good.

Brainstorming

I'd like to introduce a concept of a new feature called Account Control. This feature will allow to do different things with ur accounts. For example, u will be able to set a lock on an account to prohibit any outgoing transactions until a special condition met (e.g. an incoming transaction from a predefined account). Another example is Pooled Forging, when an account leases its forging power to another account.

Please, post here what u would like to see in Account Control.
Not only fully restriction, but limit too. Restriction must have, limitation can wait though~

What about recipient of forging power? It'll automatically divide reward between pool's forgers? I suppose even if it'll be fully automatical recipient'd have possibility to setup some fee to cover 24/7-running, wide bandwith and optimal managing of JVM.

Guys, will the decentralized exchange be able to support sports betting? How would this work?
Is a third party needed?
Could he be in stealth mode?  Cool

Arbitrary Messages can be used for sports betting.
Both, the bettor and the service provider, can be in stealth mode (via Tor, for example).

How does one become a service provider?

Sorry, what? Memory requirement depends on the amount of money in the account?

U develop an application that uses AM to publish bets info. Others use other app to see this info and place bets. U pay winnings when the time comes.

Yay! Are there any other sites that need SSL certificates? I can donate some NXT to help getting them if people need.

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.
