There seems to be a lot of misconception about pure proof-of-stake. In my view POW is brain-dead while POS is genius.
NXT was sitting on the forms waiting for investors for ages. Now they claim premine. Amazin'

All coins were created at genesis block. All coins from genesis were bought by people. There is not one nxtcoin in existence that wasn't bought by someone.
Am I right?

Can I access my wallet from another PC? Another question for 100k NVC Man, there is NO WALLET in usual terms (like in Bitcoin). There is no difference on what server you unlock your account. And, yes, you can use your own server - and I highly recommend you to use only your one - if you make it visible outside. But the way you can do it depends on you environment: OS, connection type, firewalls and so on. It was a question I was asked two times today (by only telling 3 people about NXT) so I wanted to make sure

Yes. "Created" or "Released" - both words are good. Nxt have true "genesis" block And then Jesus enter the town... sorry And then first investors start to spread their shares as a gifts, bounties, cheap sales and so on.

September 28 still not ages ;-) i searched already. The Problem was "Next Coin" was used a lot by other coins. Thanks for the links, now i understand how i works. There was no need to call me troll, just becuase i pointed out the premining (in next generation it's called "minted" ) This just confirmed my intuition that there is something strange. greetings All coins were created at genesis block. block explorer updatejust a quick note. i am working heavily on the db backend currently. there are some bugs and debugging needs a little bit more time due to the choosen db backend. block explorer is using a blazing fast but very low level db core engine, to serve future high volume in data and requests with nearly zero additional latency but this takes some more days. sorry for the delay but better to built it right now, instead using a standard sql engine, which will collapse under heavy concurrent load later. ps: i have choosed this backend because more services will built on top off this. and back to coding... edit: yes, everything is coded from scratch, for max. speed.

- yes, you are 100% right. Even the creator, BCNext, spent 1 BTC to take share in the Genesis block (there was a cap - 1 BTC for participant): My stake is/will be 1 BTC worth. I will not get any NXT for free.
And the creation of the Gen.block was fully public: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303898.msg3652710#msg3652710 .

And where is the 21 BTC now? - I think you know the answer. I am sure, they are spending on exchange creation, on rewriting Nxt networking, maybe on blockchain explorer, and so on. And 21 BTC is not comparable with 4000 BTC Mastershit Exodus.

As for the "Premine," anyone who invested had almost no guarantee NXT was going to be released so naturally only a comparativley small amount of people got them. I don't like this either. which is why I can't wait for the giveaway of the unclaimed coins to level the playing field.

And 21 BTC is not comparable with 4000 BTC Mastershit Exodus. i am coding the blockchain explorer without any payments during my spare time and i don't ask for money. if the explorer is finished, rocksolid and usefull, the user can decide to make a donation but i don't depend on this. the explorer ist more a testbed for larger builts like additional exchange services for the client etc. so i would write the explorer anyway
