"NXT... The first second-generation cryptocurrency."
Trademark that now.
I think salsacz is right, "Nxt" is enough. Perhaps that's why BCNext used this name. Forgot the /sarcasm.

Jean-Luc, thank You for response. What do I need to change in web.xml, in order to have some log file, which will keep information of what is going with console process and saved on disk? I saw somewhere in this thread, but it was long time ago. Or it will be enough to you to have the snapshot of the running console window information inside?
You don't need to change anything in web.xml, the logging option there is for peer communications only. Just select and copy the text from the console and paste it into a text file. If you only do a screenshot, it may not capture something that has scrolled up already.

We need real-life usability now, not just promised features.
Mouths will drool when we get to that stage, the nerd drooling over features phase is at the endroad.

Since I need to take a day off of programming, here's the first version of my, yet unnamed, NXT client for Windows. ...
I'm releasing version 1.1. of my Windows NXT client (still no personal account management, NTX transfer options in it or anything that needs your account secret). Changed for v1.1: - Fixed a large memory leak
- Added aliases in block chain explorer
- Faster program startup, since Blockain Explorer data is now loaded the first time you access the BC Explorer tab
- Added support for HTTPS connection to NRS. Default NRS API URL is now "https://127.0.0.1:7875"
- Added logging capabilities (not yet utilized thoroughly)
If you previously tried v1.0, please overwrite all existing files, with the files in this zip archive. NXTclient-v1.1.zip (31.9 MB) - Download hereSHA256 checksum for NXTclient-v1.1.zip: CE4A90E49AED8407F9899C06D0B3D8E19F8C739339D2597D0B6AE227B5355274 Next on my TODO list: - Send NXT function and personal account management
- Decide which name to use - thanks for your suggestions!
- Profiling the code to optimize block chain explorer loading speed
- Beautifying the GUI
Thanks a lot to the two people who have made a donation for this project!

Thanks for reporting. Will add some exception handling for the next release, so that I have a chance to debug it.

It seems dgex will NOT be giving us any grace period to withdraw NXT without a fee. The new fee appears to be 0.9%, for now, subject to increase at any moment. No commitment to notify anyone about future price increases.
I bit the bullet and withdrew my next yesterday even at the higher fee.
I also put a bit at 2.75 XRP per NXT, which at current prices is 0.000071243523316 BTC
I am in the market to purchase 10 BTC tomorrow when coinbase finally finishes transfer. PM me if you want to sell at around 0.00007
James
P.S. I have acquired all my NXT via purchases at 0.00005 and above

so crazy, over last week everyone calling their new coin second generation Shouldn't we call Nxt a 3rd 4th 5th generation currency? Just for marketing purposes? CfB, you are one crazy guy How can there be great grand children with NXT as only descendant. Are you advocating crypto-incest? That is illegal in most civilized countries James

Normal. You can replace an alias URI with a new URI, even if it is the same URI. I consider it a bug, but CfB says it is a feature

Thanks for making the announcement for me. You are such a nice competitor it is an honour somebody like you plays us up in his every message! What you say is true. We also hold no commitment to notify anyone about future price decreases or other bonuses that we are able to offer when the accounting clears up and network stability increases.

I am not your competitor, nxtchg.com is your direct competitor. I work with peercover who has a ripple gateway for NXT, BTC, LTC and USD. Peercover also has a trade page, but all that is build on top of rippled distributed ledger. Will you commit to announcing ahead of time any fee INCREASES? That is what people here, not just me, are irked about. Also, why the intentional outage to coincide with exact time of src release. I am not smart enough to figure out how that was in interest of NXT James

Why would you even consider that a bug? What con's do you have in mind? What value is there in changing an aliases URI to the exact same URI. Nothing changed, why should that get accepted? Why not get an error like "you must have submitted duplicate URI", especially if it happens very close in time. James

Maybe i can't understand you properly, but i talk about two same aliases. First is "lr127" (URI is "id:11017826896") and second is "lr127" (same URI "id:11017826896"). I wanted to buy one alias and spend 1 NXT, not 2. But when i query: http://node1.nxtbase.com:7874/nxt?requestType=listAccountAliases&account=11017826896I see only one alias "lr127". As expected.

My guess is that you clicked the button twice and accidentally made a replace URI with the second one. The first one created the alias, the second one replaced destination. Since it was from the same info that created it moments before, it replaced your URI with the exact same URI. Two transactions, one alias, cost 2 NXT. James
