Same here. Just restarted the daemon to get it working again. It's too bad that we need to do this daily.

New clone. This is pretty much a NXT clone if they can pull it. Admittedly, the initial distribution was more well thought out.

Yeah, these kids will go far:

thanks for telling me about this. i definitely don't want to put all of my money in 1 basket so if other talented developers surface with the intention of copying the ideas of nxt with all new code ill definitely be investing in that. its the ideas that are important not the specific implementation. more competition in this space is definitely good.

with that being said i already see some evidence in their post indicating that they may not really understand how decentralized networks work. anyway its all going to come down to how well they can answer my questions.

Very smart move coz they will have much faster something to come up with than NXT. I told you all before, till now and 3 months NXT has nothing becausse one amateur programmer needs to go on vacation and works on the client when he got the time for it.
And as he told he will only have a first test in march, by than there are three or four clones that fill that market gap eating all the revenue and game over for NXT.
Another writing on the wall is an article I have read about some one claiming being the third in command in the hierarchy and spokesman for NXT. Was'nt NXT decentralized?

Point No.1) Source was released as planned 3 days ago...Major client release in ~4 weeks....streamlined Windows client released in 3 days.

Point No. 2) Please read 8-10 pages back for your answer

EDIT: New Competitors will also be subjected to the Laws of Market Physics....everything looks rosy now but they will have to survive in a very very harsh environment...Nxt is alive and growing.

Or only when it is really needed

Time from last block API request (add to getState)
Useful for stop-on-fork-chain monitoring
With this it would be easier. It is too difficult now to do it without dependencies like python mjson.tool
If anyone can - pull requests are welcome.

App could be turned into a private community app.. either way, I want the public to have it.

Can we use ''Nxt Bounty Thread''  to encourage people to vote.

I think most people forget voting, at first I know I did... thought only leaving comment was a vote, but then I found that you can like the idea and that will count as a vote. With more votes we can surely get this topic to popular and get cryptsy interested.

so here is the image after registration visit above link and

They're claiming to have all of their features implemented at launch... highly unlikely since they copied that feature list directly from this thread's original post, lmao.

I set up a server(node) so for quick access to NXT client online. Made it mainly for one forum so that members can use it to create accounts/addresses and get a feel of nxt without having to download client, java etc.. some of them got few nxt from the faucet some of them got stolen in the same hour Smiley cause they had either short passwords or something else which I am unaware of.

The reason I am posting this is that everything was fine I had blocks up to 3xxxx and everything was in synch when I locked at it this morning via remote link https://quicknxt.com:7875 I saw blocks going backwards!!! Orphans increasing and going backdated. The blocks are going back words with minus figure too!!

Check the screen shot here:
http://prikachi.com/images/379/6927379N.png

Shall I stop the node and take mrs files form my other node that is not mapped to public url?
Could you guys look at the bug, it surely doesn't look too good?

Update regarding the reward program

BCNext is revising posted links, this will take several days. Exchange and Faucet category winners were chosen, some of them got the reward, some were asked for Nxt account (no replies yet).

@ CfB.....would it be advantageous to use Ripple as an actually IOU gateway to the Nxt Asset Exchange?

Edit: Mainly for Fiat....USD,EURO,YEN...etc.....if the Gateway is Quasi-decentralized then it removes a weakness that a normal issuing Gateway would have?

If we interface NXT with USD (which is a centralized currency) why shouldn't we do the same with XRP (which is less centralized)?
