Both Bitcoin and Altcoins have different positive and negative features or things. The Bitcoin is the most trusted. It has great value. But the transaction fee is expensive and it is slow transaction. On the other hand, the altcoins have more various concepts and cheaper transaction fees. There may be the positive and negative sides. So, I cannot determine which is better.

Altcoins can not be better than bitcoin, they also directly depend on it. If bitcoin goes down in price, and all oldoini are drawn
Altcoin depends on Bitcoin and market prices are controlled by the price of Bitcoin, so it's impossible for Altcoin to be better than Bitcoin. yes if the price of Bitcoin goes down then all other coin prices also go down. |

I am just curious about all of your thoughts, so don't hesitate to reply and get yourself justified  This is for all of us to gain knowledge between ALTCOINS and BITCOIN. Ahh! Umm! No! Actually the thing is bitcoin still stands a chance to overcome the alts. have you ever read or heard about the BTC dominance in the CMC or somewhere? Do you know how much it is ! Its around 37% dominance , and I am sure its earned one not just coming out of imagination. Thats the best thing that can explain the whole scenario. So I am pretty sure altcoin will be in the second position all the time. Also altcoin are things, which come and go all the time leaving behind those few which are at the top! But surely they cant take down the BTC at all. while you are right in saying bitcoin earned its dominance and rank and superior than altcoins , but it is true only if we rank them in terms of reliability and popularity . but if we rank them in terms of profitability and scope then altcoins will win , not all alts , but there are many alts which do not dominate even 1% of total marketcap and best projects , for example Fusion , it marketcap is just 0.1% of total market cap , so investment in this coin will give me much more return than btc which already dominate 40% mcap . hope you understand my point . I think Altcoin is indeed better than bitcoin because with altcoin there are indeed many choices to invest in Altcoin and by this time many people have invested in Bitcoin and are waiting for the price of bitcoin to return because altcoin always follows the movement of bitcoin |

I think some altcoins have more advanced technology than bitcoin. But bitcoin is trusted much more than any altcoin. In my opinion, the price of cryptocurrency determines trust. The more people believe in cryptocurrency so it is more expensive. And I believe that no altcoin will not be able to defeat bitcoin.

Indeed there are some altcoins that are better than bitcoin but not all altcoin is better than altcoin. But in public trust and popularity, bitcoin still leads for crypto currency. But technologically, some altcoins have more powerful and qualified technology than bitcoin. This is a threat to bitcoin because the longer the public is increasingly aware if some altcoin have great technology, if people are already aware then people will switch to using altcoin and leave bitcoin. Therefore if bitcoin wants to maintain its existence then bitcoin should continue to make improvements and technological innovation.
