I firmly believe that people sold alts to protect their investment, not because they lost faith in alts. While BTC is still king and should form at least 20% of your portfolio, alts are the ones with potential to change the world.

I don't think so, there are many scam coin in the market, the price or the trading volume only boost when they listed in the exchange for a short period, after that no one will buy it, if you find more behind this project, you will know they have not any use case and the project suspend for a long time.

yeah actually the situation has become changed now and now it can be said that altcoins are going too much better then bitcoins like etherum and litecoin steem is all time favourite so it is very well said that altcoin is better now.

You should not compare Altcoin and Bitcoin but for me any digital currency is also worth, but what type is the first currency and what is the value of it ? Bitcoin always is top one .

Altcoins may have a better technology, vision etc. But remember that the first one here was a king - Bitcoin and with Lightning Network many alts probably are going to have at least a bit of negative price action.
All in all if you're investing remember to have a bit of BTC in your portfolio.

People with altcoins are happy with bitcoin leading the market. If another coin takes the lead, people will begin doubting whether that will be the end of crypto so the whales know this and they won't let that happen but they can let it happen. The bad side outweighs the good side this won't happen.

I think it is impossible, there may be altcoin with many fans and faster in terms of transactions, but bitcoin is the first coin and become the other coin king, it is very difficult to replace bitcoin, altcoin price is also affected by bitcoin price, i think for now altcoin only can be a companion of bitcoin |

Better is a subjective term. Bitcoin is a crypto leader and a store of value. While there are plenty of altcoins with better speed or privacy or other features over bitcoin, that does not make those better that bitcoin. If that was the case, then all those bitcoin forks claiming to add various features and improvements to bitcoin will not be trading at so low prices compared to bitcoin.

I think, It may not be possible as there are no one altcoin which have potential to beat Bitcoin as it is the very first cryptocurrency and mother of this crypto market and still now it is the King of this market. Other side there are so many scams exposed in the Altcoin ICO's/Projects every day, so there no chance to beat Bitcoin by any Altcoin in near future.

Which altcoin can do this? I can't imagine this. In perspective any coins which will show any good result and wins big part of any sphere can do this. It could be Ethereum, EOS, Cointroops, SEELE or any other coins which we don't know.

we can see now when Bitcoin down then Altcoins went down, so did the opposite.
but maybe for all the features can be added from Altcoins, depending on its developer team if you want to expand its market share.

Will for me altcoin is better in daily trading. Altcoin is good in holding but i think bitcoin is more good on holding than altcoin. But if you just see they are both good in every activities it is such dwpend on your strategies
