what is the problem with zcash fork?
my zcash not payout last 2 days and my jaxx wallet not updating anymore?
what should we do?

My coinomi wallet is still working after the fork.  I received a payout on Oct 30th.

alright, PM sent. I'm reasonably confident I can guess what you did, the software solution is the more challenging thing, as you suggest.

In other news, my miner that "Made it through DHL without customs hit" just received a $900 invoice about 45 days later.

Sigh.

My guess is any of us that thought these came through without the 25% hit will be getting bills in the future.

I would pay 0.5 Zcash for a couple of photos of z9 hash board.
PM me for details before sending the photos.

I used to have this happen back in the day with orders from Bitmain. About 45 days after receiving the miners with no warning or explanation. Just a bill in the mail from Fedex for customs.

But back then the bill was something like $12 for a $2000 miner, so it didn't phase me.

Right now the tariff is the main reason I won't buy anymore ASICS. Back to the old GPU rigs. Slow but certain profits.

Hi,

Has anyone had both Z9 mini and innoslicon A9 exploited in same conditions (especially temperature) ? Which one is the quieter, is it by far or small difference ? Could you compare the noise of A9 to a Z9 mini set to 50% fan ?

(i ask because my noise limit in my environnement is close to Z9 mini at 50% fan).

Many thanks in advance

Hi there.  Yep I have both running side by side.  i can't tell you at 50% fan speed - well because I don't see the need.  I leave them at auto.  But for reference, at 100% during startup the A9 is louder than 2x Z9 mini's side by side.
In normal operation (right now):

A9:  15% fan speed  66/69/66 C   53KSol/s
Z9 Mini:  3,600 rpm  47/47/48  14.7KSol/s
It's about 24C ambient here.  The A9 is slightly louder than the mini.

To be honest, I think they are both pretty quiet in the world of ASIC's but the Mini is quieter (one fan only).  Note that the standard Innosilicon PSU is much noisier than the ASIC (I swapped to a HP PSU instead and its much better).
To answer your question without testing your 50% noise limit - I would estimate that the A9 would be a little bit noisier.  This will depend on your fan speed though since the A9's auto seems to run a lot hotter.

Hope that helps.

I've bought a used Z9 and have 1 X inside the ASIC Status:

1   16   625   18.75   0   37   54   oooooooo oooooooo
2   16   625   19.08   0   35   51   oooooooo oooooooo
3   16   625   16.95   0   35   52   oooxoooo oooooooo

Can I fix this somehow? How bad is it and how fast is it getting worse? At first there was no error (x) at all.

If the number 625 you're reporting is the frequency of the miner, I would assume that means you've pushed the machine a bit too far with frequencies if the X was previously not there when you started. I would try to lower the clock rate incrementally until you find that the X is gone and leaving the miner and seeing what it does for a few hours afterwards.

yes, if I run it low (500-550 freq) and cool around 50°C the error is not there. when it touches temps over 50°C the error appears.
