3. There are financial risks associated with mining cryptocurrencies. These risks can be related to changes in exchange rate of the cryptocurrency or to changes in the algorithm that is used to mine the cryptocurrency.

You serious? Lot of equihash coins are forking. If you are not in batch 1 you are taking a huge risk.

Fabulous! Lost 4 days, basically a huge amount of profit with all the coins forking. "Your package was cleared after the scheduled transport departure. We will reschedule for the next available departure."
Yeah I'm in a similar situation. Looks like I will lose at least 3 days mining. I can't take delivery on the weekend and it was supposed to be here tomorrow but is still stuck in Shenzhen. UPS says status is Exception with this "Your package is awaiting release from the clearing agency for formal entry at the export location. " It's been in Shenzhen for well over 24 hours now, probably more than 36.

So it looks like 1432 units shipped so far. That's 14,320,000 sols/s. ZEC network hashrate is between 500,000,000 and 600,000,000 sols/s so that's something like 2.5-3% of ZEC network hashrate.
Up to 3434 units shipped. 34,340,000 sols or about 6.25% of network hashrate.

Based on what they have said, I believe that the 2002 units is actually the fourth batch (of batch 1). https://twitter.com/Antminer_main77+607+748+2002=3434

I had the impression that Bitmain just added more to 607 that were shipped a few days ago.

Yeah that's actually how it looked to me at first too, especially since each announced batch is larger than the last. But since my own order was in the 748 set I realized these were each different groups.

Can you just pay the driver the import fee?
That's what I have done with FedEx in the past, but this is UPS.

Maybe, but didn't seem that way. On mine it was holding it in China until I paid the fee and they didn't release for shipping out of China until I paid. You can pay online.

Get used to it, at least as long as we have this administration. This is what a trade war looks like.

This has nothing to do with that. The import fee + brokerage fee was always there for higher-priced miners. Best way to deal with it is to have it billed to your FedEx/UPS account. No delays that way.

On the shipping address form I put my FEIN into the EIN/SSN box and FedEx account number into the IMPORTER NO box. Not sure about UPS, I think it somehow linked to my account without actually providing the account number, perhaps by address. Make sure the recipient's name and address is the same on Bitmain site and on your FedEx/UPS account. There is some one-time import paperwork needed (FCC & customs forms I think), which FedEx/UPS will request from you when the first shipment arrives. This will establish your importer identity and then all subsequent shipments should go smoothly.

If you are in the US, is it possible to pay the driver on delivery with cash or personal check? I've made a UPS account and entered payment details, but I see no way to assign the shipping invoice to my account for online payment.

You can pay online. what country are you in ? here in indonesia we pay (custom fee) to dhl/feedex/ups after custom released it, applied to personal importer, dont know about company importer. Doesnt matter what I filled on bitmain invoice/field it always goes to dhl/feedex/ups tax number as importer. Super easy but super expensive tax (about 30%)

This now makes me feel that they only really shipped the first 77 units to their close friends, relatives, or loyal customers. Then they used even used it as a PR move to show "transparency." I LOL at bshitmain. They do business with such questionable business ethics and just because they can get away with it, they do.
