You feel this way because you have spent too much time thinking about altcoins or tripling your money by trading. If you tried to go to the roots of why people need bitcoin then you would understand that the purpose is much more than making easy gains available to early adopters and scammers.

Even this thread reminds me of the hatred bitcoin lovers have about the banking sector. It isn't any different and I feel that bitter taste in my mouth right now. There are really a lot of discussions about banks in this forum. This is quite logical, since banks and crypto-currencies are competitors among themselves. i dont feel so bitter in banks cause just for me banks are  storage of my money. so i go to bank when i will deposit money. im pretty sure that i am not the one who do that. that is only financial deposit so if you had a  lot of money instead of deposit it in on bank why dont you try to invest in cryptocurrencies right. that is the best way to earn money

We can understand them because they maybe have been in bad experiences from the Banks that is why there were/are thread existing in here. Also crypto currency has great potentials,fast transaction and no need to fall in line, by using internet and computer or cellphone you can make a simple transaction and that's it, unlike the bank.

Let’s us focus on cryptocurrency development and leave the difference on perception on banks. These two entity are possible co-exist and I think that will be more beneficial to all of us. I also agree with you that bank and crypto can coexist. People who are behind banks are smart people and they know that Bitcoin or altcoins can be bad for thei business but again as we see now some banks are not actually waging war against crypto insted they are adapting it. Recently singapore is releasing bitcoin bank notes. I will not be surprised one day that banks will release their own coins and probably accepts our digital assets.

The difference is just in decentralization and centralization. Those who are already comfortable with the decentralized system will try to desire cryptocurrency can able to replace traditional banks because with cryptocurrency on the grounds and the have the reason ryptocurrency is easier to use rather than bank. I don't hate banks because for me banks is the safest establishment that will take care of our money especially if we convert huge amount of Bitcoin to fiat. I don't care about the small monthly interest that they are saying but as long as my money is safe and insured then nothing to get angry with banks. Its is because we have bad experience with banks. Just like me, I can't open a local bank account because I don't have a job currently so I don't have the necessary documents. However, I have money to begin with, why are they not allowing me to open a bank account? I have other source of income because I have a business but its not enough for them. However, I don't think that crypto will eradicate banks per se, they are already a established institution and there's no doubt that they will not became obsolete just because of crypto.

Yeah! You're right. Why there are so many people who compared banks and crytptocurrency. Banks will always remain for a long time and so as cryptocurrency. So we with them as part of our life.

Obviously, as much as we show some pretty much level of hatred for the banking sector, they will still remain operational. The good thing however, is that, cryptocurrency has really come to save the day for a lot of us and that would instigate some form of competitive factor which would make the banks to really sit up tight as against all their bullshit policies over the years which made things so hard. That competition is one thing that I am so happy about and looking forward to the post effect on how banking sector will want to remain functional in the long run.

If banks had a comparison with cryptocurrencies,  banks are worthless.  (Well if you look at it in this point)  Banks interest per month is constant,  percentage doesn't rise or fall. It is a very boring,  low-achieving process. Asides that, people are basically tired of the messed up fiat system as there is really nothing to show for it except for a manipulated system of governance and banking sector with all forms of monopoly. You would be lucky if they are paying that. Banks in my country only know how to deduct certain unnecessary fees even after all they make from your savings. It has become so appalling and it is a good thing that I believe cryptocurrency would create some form of stiff competition for the banks in the long run.

The only thing with cryptocurrency right now is just the high level of volatility which can make it tend to the downside pretty quickly but over time, when things have gotten huge, even banks will feel the impact that they would be begging for savings.

The main idea behind bitcoin is to have a trust system without the help of a third party trust system (banks) and everyone knows how corrupt and impartial they can be, we have seen that many times in the past and it will happen in the past and so is the only reason majority are trying and being vocal about banks, i do not think eradicating banks will be a long term solution, but everything will co exist in the future.

Well, banks exist as storage of money and for them to lend it to other people who need money. They are just basically agents or middle man. If we can store our money safely and could use it anyware then it will be better. But since banks is the only one facilitating it for the longest time now then we are tied to it. But now we have options. We can actually use many platform now without banks for our daily requirement that serves like a bank. Bank is becoming less important with regards to small daily transaction but it still hold the big tickets. Like, big loan.

People who give a criticize banks here without using the topic as a filler are actually concerned about the financial system we are living in. That is where the "Central banks" come in. You need to make a difference between big investment banks, central banks and your usual street-side variety of bank branch that keeps your deposits.

Everyone understands that some form of credit lending and deposit holding is needed. It is when banks become too big to fail and the topmost banks collude with businesses and politicians to ensure that they never have to be accountable for the taxpayers' money, that is where the problems come in. That is why people oppose them.

You may have seen too many posts that say "Banks are bad" without going into the gist of the argument which makes you sick and tired. Go into the real argument and identify the real problem. You may not feel the same then. It is easy to say that they can co-exist but you forget that bitcoin takes away a lot of their power. If you think they are just going to accept this power sharing and not try to subvert bitcoin, then you are simply fooling yourself and getting co-opted.

I am sick and tired or reading reiterated posts and not just those that have to do with only banks lol. However, this has been a very hot topic for a while now as so many people have shown some high level of disgust for the banking sector which I do not blame anyone as I have that huge one for them too considering how they with the government has just decided to make life difficult when it comes to making transaction over the years and how the banking sector has been used a tool for monopoly.

Actually IMO saving our money on banks is better than saving it in different kind of online wallets,  but when it comes to obtaining profits i think the good idea is to make some investment through crypto currency but not the entire balance which is much better to pick an amount for investing and the rest is on bank to make sure it's safe.

Both banks and using crypto exchanges have advantages and disadvantages. If a person is not comfortable doing one and vice versa, then stick on their own view.

Majority who doesn't know what is the advantages of using banks are those who talks a lot negatively about them. There's a distinction between central banks and commercial banks, the latter of which is the services that you use on a daily basis, and I'm pretty sure that you're talking about the second one here.

I don't think that banks would ever be "eradicated" or even be replaced by crypto. The two is completely compatible. If you choose to store fiat in the bank, so be it. That's your choice, even though it's probably not so good of a choice over the long run.

There are even bitcoin banks popping up, which in my opinion is completely redundant considering the fact that BTC doesn't need third parties. Bitcoin simply offers an alternative to that. It has no intermediaries or central entity, which some people would definitely prefer over the fiat banking system.

It is not really about being embittered with the banks alone but government policies too. A lot of opportunities are meant to be made available by the banks but because of the government backings, they are only exploiting their Customers and not really creating the enabling environment of helping to create wealth; but they do this well for themselves.

Just because they want to compare what is the best  that give more profit in the future.this argue bank in crypto is I can say that its better to put some profit in bank for safe in then other is invest,but a little bit capital only.then if you gain another profit in you're investment save again you're new profits in the bank.bank is no risk when you put all you're saving than to invest  that have a big risk.

Your post is not much better, "to that extent". Anyway, there's no accounting for tastes, though the truth is there's a lot of reason behind all the grumbling and complaining about banks. Simply put, your money in a bank is not your money anymore. They can block your account under some ill-cooked excuse or the other, which to you would mean stealing your money from you, plain and simple. When you have crypto in your desktop or paper wallet, your coins belong to you only. No one can take them from you, either by mistake or intentionally.

Many people kind of know that but they start to really understand this thing only when their own skin is in the game. When your or your friends' money has been blocked or arrested, or even confiscated for whatever reason, you quickly start to love crypto and the advantages it offers over the state money.

Banks are governed by governments in a country, they have all the permissions to perform the functions and spread the facilities they offer. Well you know there is nothing wrong with banks or cryptocurrencies and all the people who support them but the thing is the bank and the government sector are opposing the cryptocurrency in a manner that is not fit they are doing that using all their power and eradicating the cryptocurrency this is what is driving the people insane.

You are absolutely right, investing in the crypto money is the best method of earning right now. Interest rates are very low and even some countries have negative interest rates. In fact, negative interest is positive because the government does not want its citizens to invest their money in the bank. In developed countries, basic logic is a continuous and fluid economy. For this reason, I support the negative interest application of an country. It is easy for the banks to find cash, interest is not necessary.

its a true story, even some banks that actually charge the person who keeps the money in the bank, without giving interest to savers. How ironic is not it? although in my country still the interest rate on deposits such as time deposits are still slightly higher ie 5.5% but still, that number decreases every year. Therefore, we must be smarter in making decisions for the management of our assets and money.

I think in Crypto we are free to store our coins or money, without any monthly dues only there is a fee for the delivery of coins and the fee is very cheap compared to the bank. In terms of profit crypto is very superior from the bank, because we save coins that can make money and earn profits if prices rise, on the contrary if the bank interest earned is very small. Yes I have read several posts like that but sometimes the bitterness are justified but not to the point of crypto replacing banks because that won't happen. Banks all over the world expects that you cannot transfer certain amount of money from your account without reason and such reason must be valid to the extent that even today in my country, if you want to pay for school fees abroad the bank won't release foreign currency to you rather they will charge you, then pay the fees to the school account directly invariably they are dictating how you use your money and how much you can have access to at a particular time but all of this rules are sure not applicable to the high and mighty of the society. But for crypto, there is no discrimination whether you are a senator or a teacher,  an ambassador or a civil servant. It does not matter.

You are definitely right. Both the bank and cryptocurrency are at risk, but the saving and investing in the bank sector has low risk and low profit. Apart from having low profit when investing in the bank, many people prefer not to invest in the bank because most times, the bankers use their money to invest without their consent and yet won't allocate them any profit nor interest.

I have read that these Banks are giving Billions of Dollars to Sport sponsorships. That interest could have been 10%, but they prefer to give large amounts of money to charities and sport sponsorship. Why? Well, because they get tax money from the tax payer or they pay less taxes on their profits, when they do that.

I am neutral into both sides. Each one of them has their own role and has their own platform that they had focused. There is also no point on comparing both of them, but the fact that they want to eliminate both sides is the one major problem that complicates the situation. Yeah! You're right. Why there are so many people who compared banks and crytptocurrency. Banks will always remain for a long time and so as cryptocurrency. So we with them as part of our life.

I am not sure my annoyance with the banks will really be lower than anyone else but I totally agree with you that this would not eradicate the banking sector no matter what as they would still always remain relevant and that would be too much to expect anyway for those who think banks would just fade off one day.

Banks will need to make significant changes in the next ten years. I think they have already felt the pressure, which is encrypted to them. I think banks should be a service industry in the future, and reduce the financial attributes of banks.

They are obviously feeling the pressure and that is the main reason why they tried as much as possible to attack it, but now, if you cannot beat them, you just have to join them or find a way to stay relevant which is what I believe the banks are trying to do now and are beginning to gradually consider. This is the competition we need and have been in dire want for, and it is good the banks are going to be feeling it and will make them to readjust over time.

The banks are necessary evil no matter how bad we think they have treated and shortchanged us, we still need them. It's not impossible. It only needs regulatory approval, and once financial institutions have that in their pocket, they can implement Bitcoin in their preferred way, and it's actually just a matter of time. Banks have set the first step already, and now it's waiting for the next step(s), and that might be them allowing people to buy crypto from within their banking portal to avoid dealing with exchanges. It's a win for banks themselves, but also governments. It will help to significantly lower the amount of capital flowing out of the country and system, and it will help locate and analyze people's crypto related activities and holdings. It's a win win situation for them.

Before we have no choice since bank is the only institution where we can put our money safely  and be content with the interest they gave us in exchange of the security. Banks are helping you? This is the most stupidest thing I have read on this forum, banks are helping us?! Banks help rich people, all others are just victims of their system, and I felt that many times how I am just a number there and nothing more.

In my opinion, banks are help for people, but the problem is, they require a percentage of additional payment in some cases, and people dont like it and think that it is too much. Yeah, strongly support this point. We have to use banks, so it's no surprise they act accordingly as their monopolistic position allows them. Basically, we are cannon fodder to them. Also, we have to use fiat, while fiat and banks are actually inseparable. If you have to use fiat (which you have), you have to use banks as well. They are just two facets of the same system which has as its effect, desired or unintentional, financial slavery of ordinary people. On the other hand, crypto, despite its numerous drawbacks and shortcomings, is the way out.

Yes, I have experienced mental harassment from banks multiple times and now, I would give the least priority to the banks when it comes to the financial services. See this is nothing against banks, bank officers and banking sector but the whole infrastructure doesn't make any sense if we have a faster, better, secure and cheaper alternative to do the same tasks. I feel bitter with banks cause banks are just my storage of my money are the future. Cause I think we all of my own experience. Cause we should hold a countries economy, the world at war on terror. Nope, i be more interesting with the topic if someone who has a bright idea in regards of criticism in a part of the banking system. Since this topic is not been solve in the 9 years of existence with cryptos, i waiting for the update soon and add for another years in the development of cryptocurrency vs. the banks.

if we choose the bank just as we keep our money safe, even the money we save in the bank is diminishing due to the cost of storage. whereas if we want to put our money in bitcoin will get income, because need to know that this bitcoin can go up and down.

Don't forget that banks are lending our money to other people and earn on it. We are given a small amount of their profit but we all know how much money they all earn. Storing money in banks is as uncertain as using Bitcoin. Bitcoin value changes almost every second. Banks could collapse basically anytime and disappear with our money.

Yes. Somehow I really get tired of reading same posts about those people who have really hated banking system due to the existence of cryptocurrency in which they always do comparison to these different types of systems as well as currency because the one is the regular and on the other hand, the virtual one. What people do not clearly get and understand that these two existing systems are apart from each other and they do have different roles to play in ones individual's life so what we must need to see is that these two systems are different from each other so comparison is not the key to resolve it. In fact, it is just getting worst since we are just making issues upon doing comparison of this two types of existing system that promotes different types of currency.

Banking is different sector and its way of working, the swift technology it has and operations everything is different and must not be mixed with gravity of crypto currencies. As much as people are bitter with banks because they are using our money for their benefit and we discovered the fact that they are just giving so little interest for our money that cannot beat inflation, there are still advantages of using bank which is for security purposes. One aspect I dislike about some banks is the time one might use in making either withdrawal or deposit. in fact the Bank and Cryptocurrency have their respective roles that can provide benefits to its users, just a very different way. when we save money in the Bank, the benefits we earn are only determined a few percent, but have no risk because the Bank is fully responsible. obviously very different from the investment in cryptocurrency, the benefits obtained are not limited but the risks encountered are of course very large and no one is responsible for the loss of money we invest if not from ourselves who bear it.

When we keep our money in the banks the maximum interest rate is within 1% to 1.5% minus the tax. So the increase is almost negligible because of the tax. There are certain types of bank investments with a much higher rate of return but still subject to tax. Moreover,  banks are regulated that is why we need to pay for taxes also. If we compare it to crypto where our potential rate of return is incomparable with the banks. But with a certain risk. So I think, it depends on the person where they want to invest. I still do not know why they keep talking salty to banks, it does not even pose threats to cryptocurrency, in fact cryptocurrency is the one who made threats for banks. Actually banks are good for the economy of the country unlike cryptocurrency. Banks makes the money of the country circulate so that it can be used in loans and other things that can be beneficial. They are doing those posts because they are using the crypto currency today. But they really forget that only small portion of the whole humanity does actually know about the bitcoin or are using it really. I mean crypto currency might be known to many people but only fewer % of them are actually using it.

I think they always have the idea that banks will disappear in time because of cryptocurrencies. However, I more so believe in the tendency that banks would someday accept crypctocurrencies because banks are business entities, and surely, they would try to adjust and make their systems work so that they can accommodate cryptocurrencies. That's more practical and believable rather than thinking that most banks will close down.

indeed I also have read several times about posting like this. they always compare between banks with cryptocurrency. I myself, feel I will invest some money in cryptocurrency than in the bank. because dibank, we just save it without being able to have a profit, and usually the money is often taken for interest. different if we invest in cryptocurrency, besides can be saved, in cryptocurrency always get profit, if price of cryptocurrency have gone up from initial price invested.

no matter how we compare them, things will never change that there are sectors and group of people who will just believe in banks, and those who proven how helpful BTC will always fight for BTC, we just stand on what we know at all.

Bank huh? Hmm it seems the bank isn’t a good place to save money because bank provides only small profit for us. If we save our money in the bank maybe our money selling value will decrease because of the fluctuation of law in every country’s currency.
And if the bank goes bankrupt the money we save cannot be withdrew completely it’s very troublesome thing.

Banks will not responsible for any other cryptocurrencies because they had the original one country currencies so they will not come to accept cryptocurrencies into a situation but in future it can be changed so because no guarantees are more developing currencies that's why I am saying this.

well i am also one of them i do not like banks but i do not want them to completely wipe out from their existence. For me physical currency and virtual currency are both necessary right now. We need the centralized and De-centralized system and make changes to out life. nowadays everyone got a choice which was not available in later time. I'm not tired of this and I do not think that many people that make those kind of posts are bitter against banks but even if they were, what is wrong with that? The original purpose of banks of facilitating loans and to keep your money secure made sense back in the day, but they took that power to themselves and the world will be noticeable better if their power was limited.

Somehow yes, I am do entirely tired of reading same posts of those people stating their hatred and hard feelings towards banking systems in which they do just always do comparison between the capability of banks on putting up a small amount of profit from a real small percentage of interest that can be gained every year. Exactly, the comparison between bitcoin and bank is only for those who are silly and too idle in life, the chance for bitcoin to replace the bank is a zero, we have clearly recognized that bitcoin is a temporary investment, not a guarantee and forever as a bank. It is not that I am not in favor with banks, I also love the idea of having bank as they were also have an advantage in the people and in the economy, so for me I would love to see bitcoin as growing in fast pace just like banks, but if I were to choose between the service and transactions of course I would prefer cryptocurrency.

I had a very bad experience when I was saving my money in my bank account. When is deposit I think 200 dollars, I thought it will stay like that in a week. Banks are bitter on cryptocurrency because they knew that it was a threat to their business and people will obviously choose to invest on bitcoins or other cryptocurrency more than placing their money on banks.
