i still dont know how people trust cryptsy. Slow manipulated transactions, random vanishing of your money. If a bank would just randomly freeze your money when you wanted to take it out or whatever, im pretty sure NO ONE would stay with them. I used cryptsy for about 2 days and immediately searched for a faster more honest exchange (Vircurex). Transactions are fast and my money doesn't get stuck in limbo when the market moves.

I advise everyone to STAY CLEAR of Cryptsy!!!!!

Compare the volume and the order book depth and you'll understand why people use Cryptsy.

I most certainly don't work for them. Ha! I am a Mechanical Engineer for the Naval Weapons Station. I am more confident putting my money there than cryptsy thats all.

I'm not clear on why anyone is so focused on hash power.

The root of the hash power is which is more profitable to mine? Of course, right now, and for the last couple months, it has been Doge. That means nothing. The instant, and I do mean instant, that Doge is not as profitable to mine, the next coin, whether it is Litecoin, or something else will get the majority of the hash rate.

Please don't use hash rate to determine success, it's a symptom of profitability, which has been short term success for whatever reason, most likely the large whales backing it. Just enjoy the profitability, and don't let greed win over and lock in some decent profit.
