from their site.
*Which* currency are you looking at?
Dogecoin exists for 2 months and we are heading to block nr 100,000 fast.
How can their stats show an all-time block finding rate of 23 million?
I am guessing that this is cumulative of *all* their coins together, not your Doge block overview?
Weird that they show zero valid though.
Time to use a different pool.
I am using nut2pools.com with a very capable dev and no complaints as to payments - always exactly on the money.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I don't think we will drop much lower than 266, should head back up from here!
I do think we will go a bit more down because of diff drop. Who knows.. I was looking at the 288 price today and I was like lets wait a bit more, don't sell (so I could buy cheaper) and then it just dropped....

Reward halving is also coming.

Is anybody can explain cryptcy.com bug:
I was on kriptsy order to purchase  dogs for 0,000 000 55 btc
10.02 on the chart I see a spike down hi 0,000 002 22, low 0,000 000 10

Why is my order did not work?

thank you
Your order did not execute because you were not the first in the list.
The way exchanges work is that they order the incoming buy and sell offers:
- in value per coin
- in time of reception
So, say that someone has a buy order issued some time ago at 280 Satoshis for 500 Doge
and the market has moved down to 280 so all the 280 buy orders are being filled with the incoming sell orders and his order is now being filled.
Then someone (or a bot) issues a 100 Doge sell for 10 Satoshis.
The that sell offer will be matched with his buy for 280, so that seller might get 280 Satoshis for it.
However, if the sell offer comes first and then the buy offer of 280 is filled, then the buyer might be able to buy part of his order for 10 Satoshis, the other 400 Doge of his offer will be filled with other sell offers (probably at 280, his bidding price).
Since your buy offer of 55 is sitting way in the back of the queue, it got never filled by that small sell offer at ridiculous price.
Hope this is clear.
BTW, I have had the luck to send a buy of coins to the exchange, just after someone sent a lower sell offer, allowing me to save money in buying my coins at lower than I offered, but my offer was at the current trading price, so I was immediately first in queue.

... Actually just one and a half month ago or so everyone thought that reward halving at 100,000 is terrible dev mistake and it's gonna kill DOGE. And I was the one too.  Roll Eyes
EDIT: btw what about 200,000?  Wink
You can read in the very first post on page 1 of this thread when the reward will change
(Hint: it halves at 100,000 - now just over a day away - and it halves again at block 200,000...)
The effect is likely that network hash rate goes down for some miners find it not interesting to mine,
so the diff will go down, making it relative easier for the remaining miners to find blocks, which will
compensate for the lower rewards.
*by design* the block find time will stay at 1 minute avg, so the net effect will be that the supply
(dilution or inflation) of Doge will be cut in half.
That will mean lower "sell" volume on exchanges and this could have positive effect on price (increase).
Today there are 30 million new Doge generated every hour, after tomorrow only 15 million/hour...
But we will see if that has the effect that we expect. Time will tell.

Actually the price doesen't need to get up that much higher to still be interesting for miners, at a price of 283 it has a profitability of "88" at multipool.us To still be in the top 5 coins (lowest is "57" atm) after the block half the price would have to reach aprox. 366 satoshi. Its not out of reach tbh =)

hmm... I'm thinking of it in that way: less coin -> less profitable -> less miners (hashrate) -> less diff -> more profitable again -> more miners (hashrate) ...and so on...
so it's always ok for miners and there's no really huge place for price in that chain. it's just some coefficient of how much this states changes and the price only matter of market.

Are there any stats like this for Doge?: http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty
the only stats I know is http://dogechain.info/chain/Dogecoin/statistics
only previous (current) hashrate and diff, no prediction or smth else
would be really cool if bitcoinwisdom made something like the one you mentioned for DOGE (they already made nice graphs btw http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/dogebtc )
