worse can be said to BTC.  Last BTC to be produced in year 2140 (over 100 years from now), is equivalent to "unlimited" supply during my life time.

and who knows if the consensus over the next 126 years is to make BTC "unlimited" too.  but that's beyond my life time for me to care about.

It has linear inflation until all the coins are mined which means you know exactly how many are going to be mined each year. Unlike current fiat currencies where they can print up unlimited amounts whenever they want so it's a guessing game how much more will flood the market.
