I actually cant believe the price of DOGE is staying where it is.  There are tons produced everyday.  Basically for the price to remain stable this means that people are buying or holding that number of coins per day on top of the amounts that are already made and bought and sold everyday.

I just hate to see multipools eating hash rate like gays , increasing the diff and then when it raises they leave , leaving us with a fucking high diff. And then repeat . I mean wtf ...
That's why I have an idea that will fix the multipools doing coin hopping just like PPLNS fixed the pool hoppers.
Unfortunately this would need a new coin to be created (and some minor development towards it), and I don't want to be that guy.
Might be able to integrate that into an existing coin? Id love to hear the idea =)
integrating to an existing coin would require a hard fork because it changes the dynamics of the block reward system and might even need to store some extra data on the block with the network info at the time of block creation (not sure if that is currently being collected)

So.. what part of "this is IFC all over again", did you not understand ?

Both were built with the multi pools in mind. The pumper n dumpers that created these and other similar coins, wouldn't have it any other way.
and that's why my idea would need a new coin as it would clash with the multipool dumping concept of current established coins.

Supporting one of the few good alts like ANC, LTC, FTC, is a better idea. Wink

When is there going to be a USD/DOGE Dogebase?

There is a very high demand for Doge in USD

The Jesuits = The Money Changers - Executive order 11110, Green Hilton Memorial Agreement, Global collateral accounts.. The US Treasury needs to print United States Notes backed by any physical assets; unlike this debt tool 'federal reserve note' printed by a private central bank that is 100% unconstitutional

Those maybe good coins.  But Doge is a great coin! Like BTC.

But if ANC is so good then why does it only have a trade volume of $20,752?
DOGE has a trade volume of $173,588 which is better than FTC too.

Many people use Doge for tipping, online games, products and services.  This is growing everyday.
A coin is only as good as it's usefulness.  Dogecoin has a very useful niche and winning hearts of many.

2) auto-switching pools destroy altcoins

should have the motivation to setup a switching pool in response to the existing multipools instead of whining about switching pools.  if multipools are so destructive, then the same switching algorithms can also be used to benefit dogecoin, couldn't they?

oh, so instead of creating a new method to defend against the erosive nature of multipools we just fuck every other alt coin? what's stopping others doing a multipool that pays in shitcoin? I don't want a race to the bottom.

Markets & technology is always a race to the bottom. Look at HFT in traditional markets.

The issue i have with the switching pools is they dont give a new coin any time to establish. Because theres so many more people wanting BTC (else they probably wouldnt use these systems), it forces new coins all down to the same level too quickly. Maybe a few escape this, but id guess most of these are the older alts and were maybe even setup before multipools were common place.

Id like to see them given more time to establish a user base etc before being hit by these systems, even if it was just a case of cryptsy/exchanges limiting API calls on coins <2 months old or whatever.

The plus side for doge is its currently holding its own and has stopped the rot for now despite its ridiculous block award, and maybe is proving that services matter.  If there was a Doge > USD service i think this thing would be in much better shape already because attracting a new userbase is one thing, but unless your very dedicated to getting your hands on coins is still not a simple enough experience for most.

If anybody hates multipools because they fuck up altcoins, the solution is simple.

make a pool that mines the optimal coin, but pays out in DOGECOIN.

multiple problems solved in one go.  why fuck with the fundamentals of the currency itself when you can up the ante instead?

game on.

so they will sell dogecoins Wink to cashout
that's what we want though:  people buying and selling dogecoins.  that's the whole point of a currency.  the difference is (if people who hate multipools are to be believed), the value gets 'sucked' out of the other altcoins to benefit dogecoin.

If some enterprising user who believes in both

1) dogecoin

and

2) auto-switching pools destroy altcoins

should have the motivation to setup a switching pool in response to the existing multipools instead of whining about switching pools.  if multipools are so destructive, then the same switching algorithms can also be used to benefit dogecoin, couldn't they?

Let me see if I have this correct?

1. Multi-pools like middlecoin dumps many Dogecoin onto market which drives price down.
2. So what you're saying is to create a new multiple pool mining system that mines only the most profitable alt-coins like middlecoin does,
3. trade them for BTC and immediately trade them for Dogecoins,
4. this will actually allow you to get more Dogecoin per day compared to mining them?
5. Then you will have twice as many people buying Dogecoin which would raise the price? which is good.
6. Also by competing with Middlecoin makes it less profitable for Middlecoin users therefore reducing there user base which shifts the power back over to DOGE and other Alt-coins?
7. This could also effect the total net hash-rate which could make it more profitable to mine again?

Wow!  What a Doggy Doge world.  I would say it's a little hypocritical, but interesting and competitive.

It would be nice to have some of the major Dogecoin mining pools on-board offering the same type of service.

Not sure if the Doge community would like this because many Shibes like to play fair.  But some may call it Justice and others are very competitive.

The bottom line is that two can play the same game therefore it's okay to compete in this way.

Competition is a good thing.

But how do we know if Multi-pools aren't actually helping Doge in the long run?  Roll Eyes

I think you're right.  A USD to DOGE exchange would be a great service right about now.

Where can we vote for doge / usd?

I guess we cast our vote here by talking about it. People are asking for a USD/DOGE exchange all the time.

But we do have a few options.

People are selling their supply on a few websites but they sometimes run out of stock:
https://www.dogefordollars.com/
https://www.altquick.co/
https://squareup.com/market/dogebase

ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=m570.l3201&_nkw=dogecoin&_sacat=0

Here proposal for a Doge/USD exchange on Reddit.  Nothing seemed to develop.
http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1tha0r/hi_fellow_shibes_i_need_your_help_lets_build_a/

It it more time consuming but right now this may be cheapest way to buy a Dogecoins:

Sign up for coinbase. Takes about 30 minutes to verify everything and allow for instant purchase
Purchase .1 Bitcoin (the max you can purchase instantly)
Transfer to crpytsy  This will also take 30mins-1hr+ so don't freak out
    Buy dogecoin for .1 bitcoin
    Transfer doge to personal wallet
Revel in the fact that you now have as much dogecoin as me (around ~300,000D) but that I purchased at a much higher price and only purchased 100,000 for .1 Bitcoin Smiley
