hi ... I  need some help starting to fill my kennel!   Cheesy

we only have one computer and not too powerful, I think I was told there is only onboard video

how can I mine fastest?  CPU?  OR still with on board GPU?

I want to try to be a Doge millionaire too!!!!   Shocked

but its still a few months before I go to college and maybe can save to buy my own comp

any tips?  THX!!!   Grin

Hi, fellow shibe! You can mine with CPU and GPU. You cand find estimated data about hashrate here: https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison. Don't forget about cooling!

And check your kennel. I sent you some doges Wink

To the moon!

hi shibe, cpu mining is not profitable anymore in these days. Because there is a huge competition with gpu farms on network. see if you could buy a r9 280x which is for $300 or a 7950. They're good for mining  Grin

I can ruin that dream for you. I can buy Doge, then it will drop like a rock. (I feel like everyone just decides, hey let's fucking sell everything when IronCross buys Cheesy)

Copied from a thread I just posted-

So, the other day, I was at the San Francisco Bitcoin Meetup, which had over 250 people attending. Great, right? Yes, absolutely. However, that's not what stood out - what stood out was the tremendous support there was for Dogecoin.

I've always been a fan of Dogecoin, because I think there exists a great community for it. It's already widely being used online - so much in fact that there are more daily Dogecoin transactions than transactions of Bitcoin and Litecoin put together. Sure, in total USD value it isn't super high, but it's actually being used for micropayments - people are actually using it to tip, buy/sell/trade, etc.

Anyway, at this meetup, there were several speakers. One of the speakers we brought in ran Kraken, a mostly European cryptocurrency exchange which seems to be very promising. There was a question asked regarding adding support for altcoins-

He responded, saying that they were considering it and they have received a decent number of requests to add coins like Peercoin, Namecoin, etc. He then mentioned that they were receiving hundreds of requests per day to add Dogecoin - and I wouldn't quite believe it if I didn't see it, but there were literally two whole sections of people who cheered after he said that. Like 20-30 people in a crowd of bitcoin enthusiasts, all with some uncanny attachment and support for a coin that didn't even exist a month and a half ago.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share these two things that I found quite amazing- that a little monthly bitcoin meetup offering nothing but a place to have a beer and talk could attract 250 people and the fact that out of the 100 people who were actually paying attention to the presenters, literally a third of them were cheering for Dogecoin.

iron you wouldnt be able to buy enough to ruin this ...
even if you are the reachest wallet:
"DU4wp32x4kvHHqnhPXJ1LnzsS48LedJvbi   2014-01-02 15:53:02 UTC   2014-01-17 20:13:09 UTC   1269   2014-01-02 16:29:47 UTC   2014-01-17 19:57:06 UTC   1018   2,199,000,003 DOGE ($892,706 USD)"
would be you ... it could hold rise and maybe little go down price... but thats all just moments :/ if you look at larger scale of what is happening ... you will notice that its not anymore just individuals here playing role :/ Unfortunatelly I noticed this to late Sad To often to late noticing lastly meh ...

anyway I need to stop observing everything so much lol... I am sure there will be still downs hehe but still I am believer that it will go way more up in the end Wink I am not specialist but know basics and trying to believe my feelings Tongue

P.S. And I am not living in dream Wink I already understood long time ago it might be full lose or nice reward Wink How it will end we will see someday Wink My plan from first day of making mining rigs was - mine as much coins you can and wait months or more until it will be way more worth Tongue That was original plan and I hope will stay with it Wink

I don't have many Doge, I'm just saying every time I buy(even tiny amounts), everyone decides to sell, and every time I sell, people buy tons and drive the price way up. I meant it as a joke Wink

DOGE just passed WDC in market cap. It's only higher than $150K and yes it just rose in price while WDC fell, but I think that's the first that has happened. Grin

And $450 per DOGE? I might as well just retire right now!
