Some calculations for fun:

Lets compare DOGE to LTC

LTC -
50 ltc per block
81 000.000 coins to be issued
current price = 23 usd (more less)

DOGE -
50 0.000 DOGE per block
100 000.000.000 coins to be issued
current price = 20,5 usd per 1 0000 DOGEs ==> 0,00205 usd per 1 DOGE

ok lets cut some "0"

since 10.000 DOGE = 20,5 and 1LTC  = 23 then lets take away 0000 from DOGE to compare basing on prices:

50 DOGE per block
10.000.000 coins to issue  (Noticing that comparing to current price of LTC an curreent DOGE coins are 8 time less...)

so current price of LTC and current price of DOGE makes to believe that to make same chances for both would mean that DOGE should be able to rise even 8 times in price still to catch current momentum of LTC

this means if to believe that LTC could make success then DOGE would get same at price 8x0,00205 = 0,0164
which would be cloose to 2000 satoshi

hehe well yeah fast calculations... not sure of course if I well run with my mind lmao ... but its fun to make something liek this ... just as comparison

BTW - lets add factor that in next weeks will be halving... so heh ... DOGE could reach even 4000 satoshi

It's just that Cryptsy goes through so much volume.


I do a lot of transfers back and forth.  The smaller amount you transfer, the longer it will take to post.  I know this because I always send a small amount before my large amount.  The large amount beats the small amount by like 50% to 100% quicker, everytime!

I advise anyone out there to hold on to your DOGE and not dump.  Use them for buying and supporting the community.  If anyone tells you to sell, just ignore them.  Look at Zetacoin for example.  ZET was at 0.00000076 on November 22 2013 on Cryptsy. The price started climbing and hit 0.00008780 on December 11, 2013.  It has settled down a bit since then but much better in price than 0.00000076.  ZET did this without much help.  At least DOGE has a growing community and some good people behind it. Much wow.  So if you have 'em, hold 'em and wait it out.

For me it took about 1 hour to send BTC. But it was just stupid block - it took whole net 45 minutes to do 6 confirmations of my transaction. And ~15 another to made it available on cryptsy!
