That is awesome to hear sir! Now you just have to get it on a legit exchange *cough poloniexforvolume cough*. I bought some on yobit but damnnnnnnn if it's hard to get some right now. Anyone want to sell me some ? Agreed Erok, this is one of our goals for 2016 as we help create a functional economy for Emercoin. I have formally reached out to the Poloniex staff and encourage each and everyone of us to take a moment to remind them how Emercoin should be a part of their currency offering. Emercoin currently sits at #11 on the digital currency list, it makes good business sense from an exchange perspective to have EMC listed there. The volume is going to eventually spill over from Livecoin and we are looking to provide more avenues for access to Emercoin to satisfy the demand.

Hey Relaxedsense, I certainly have made a formal request to Poloniex via their coinrequest form, as well as reached out to the staff. We will get EMC on Poloniex soon enough as it is a partnership that makes a lot of sense now for both sides. Feel free to remind them yourself that Emercoin will be a good thing to have on their list of crypto offerings.

Watch out for Livecoin.net. I signed up for an account today and deposited BTC and now they say that my withdrawals are disabled for 48 hours with no mention of this before depositing. No response in chat.
EDIT: They made an exception for me. Solid exchange.

I requested Gliss to add the EMC/BTC pairing at Bittrex to the coinmarketcap page Thank you very much Craslovell ! All of the help the community is providing right now is going to go a long way towards Emercoin's success. We are still in the early stages of our awareness campaign so your individual contributions can have a tremendous impact.

Hey I saw Microsoft is pumping you guys this month. Is there an active dev? What are yall up to other than restarting the old deactivated pools?
Just saw some updates on git and opensource. Neat stuff. Outta left field hodlers will be rewarded here it seems. GJ. And if Allien approves... I'm sold.
Hey Erok, Appreciate the kind words and indeed, we have been very busy here at Emercoin lately. There is certainly an active development group as our focus is on producing technologies opposed to primarily promotion and seeking funding. We have many exciting technologies that are in development and many partnerships that are being formed in 2016. Our goal is to make the Emercoin blockchain the leading choice for business and personal use. That is awesome to hear sir! Now you just have to get it on a legit exchange *cough poloniexforvolume cough*. I bought some on yobit but damnnnnnnn if it's hard to get some right now. Anyone want to sell me some ? I haven't researched this coin much but at a valuation of $6,000,000 USD... seems like you're getting ripped off to me.

Thanks for your assistance I have tried to send some EMC to yobit but the wallet is in maintenance at this moment. Maybe best to wait a little bit. Problems will soon be solved have they let me know.

I haven't researched this coin much but at a valuation of $6,000,000 USD... seems like you're getting ripped off to me.
Litecoin has a marketcap of $151M while Dogecoin $14M, and we are talking about 2 forks with insignificant changes. There are plenty of others that could be added on the 0 innovation list. The only problem with Emercoin is that the team is not investing anything in marketing. This is the only problem, because technology-wise, they just got validated by Microsoft Azure. So far Microsoft Azure adopted Ripple (200M marketcap), Ethereum (71M marketcap), Factom (5.5M) and the last one, Emercoin (6.5M). I would be nice to see this image posted in the first page of the ANN as It should provide sufficient information for those that just found out about Emer. So far i'm impressed by what they are trying to accomplish and there's plenty of good quality documentation in the main website, although it wouldn't be bad to have a less technical presentation of all the technologies. Something that an average techie/investor could understand (real world usage, potential, comparison between other technologies available on the market etc). For example, i always wanted to know if "EMCDPO - Digital proof of ownership with EmerCoin" could replace "Factom". I see similarities between them, but i need a better explanation. A better understanding of what are advantages of EMCDPO over Factom or vice-versa. Or if there's any competitivity between the technologies at all. Thanks for this information. I did a bit more research but can't find a block explorer. Cryptopia says "It's dead Jim" https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/BlockExplorer?coin=EMCIs there an official block explorer? Pools are all broken except the main one owned by emercoin themselves. I've never heard of the exchange: https://www.livecoin.net/trade/indexso I would have to research them more to find out their reputation. Is anyone using this coin? It seems to be made by Russians so maybe the Russian community is larger and I have no idea.

The most comprehensive block explorer is https://emercoin.mintr.org/stats and on that page you can see current difficulty. That explorer is great because you can also search Emercoin's NVS. For example, to see all the registered *.emc and *.coin domains: https://emercoin.mintr.org/nvsOne of the best things about this coin is that you can use the NVS services without investing more than a few cents. I've been using some of *.coin domains for my small projects for the last few months, and I've found them superior to other "free" domains available on the net. Especially with the emergate.net service which makes them reachable through regular DNS.
