New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin

What does that even mean?

I still do not understand how a client checks the validy of a block that claims to be validaded by some block mined on some other chain, using merged mining.

For example suppose someone uses bitcoin or namecoin as parent to merged mine, maybe namecoin as parent due to they are already using bitcoin as the parent for the namecoin.

My I0Coin client downloads a block that is not valid by normal standards, instead claiming that some other chain has a block that proves work was done.

How will my client even know how to get access to the parent chain? Chances are if I have a copy of that chain at all I have it under another username so that this chain's software cannot mess around with the other chain's wallet.

So how is the validation even possible?

9-5 (or nine-to-five) is an American slang adjective for boring, menial, or routine labour, often used in a derogratory manner (to the job or to the owner of the job). Example: I have a 9-5 job. It is often corrupted to become a noun, e.g.: I have a 9-5. I am going to my 9-5. You should quit your 9-5.

The implied meaning of the sentence is "I must go to my work to earn a living. I will put forward an icon when I return."

I will be thinking of new designs as well, but tell me what you think of these.

I am working on the version with a I in the middle,

And I am trying one with a O that has a I in the middle, with a equal sign in the middle of the I.
I will be roughly an hour or so.

That said - I like the first one best (uper left) and the second one (upper right) second best ...

As for the categories - it's a tie between 3 and 4 for me ...

This around the rim letters was by dodoking idea.
Does it look too much, and draws your eye away from the center?

The idea itself might be good - but I think it looks way too overloaded ...
I'm more the "keep it simple" kind of guy ...

I didn't catch the second one (did you edit ?) - it looks way better (less crowded) than the first. If you go with rim letters, this design would be the keeper ...

I like this very much with out the "=" in middle.



If the above logo gets the 1010101 like in the below logo



then it will look cool.

Having "= " is making I0 very odd.

I vote for the upper right logo, the one with the   I   in the middle of the   0   Symbol.

I think the = will overload it just a bit. I also like the idea of some relief (although i am for the keep it simple way), but not as intense as in the examples, maybe reduce it in numbers, like clock digits positions or just something on top and bottom.

The reason i like the I in 0 is, that it is saying:


"This is a BINARY currency!"
