Why people want ETH to over come BTC

Well, people who have thought that ETH can surpass bitcoin will difinitely have no enough ideas about the world of cryptos. But for some experts, it will never happen because bitcoin is the original of all cryptocurrencies that are existing now.

There are a couple of reasons I can think of which would support why many people would like Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin those include the fact that overall ETH receives less bad press than BTC and also that there have been talks about smart contracts based on ETH which may make a huge attraction to future investors and crypto world.

Most people are familiar with Bitcoin, but Ethereum has also gained significant market share. However, the main difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum lies in the application of technology. The difference in the system is that Ethereum's data processing is faster than Bitcoin, as the Ethereum system automatically applies the terms and conditions of the agreement once the agreement is reached. Although many people think that Ethereum is less than Bitcoin because of its lower value, it is a good thing for potential investors looking for investment vehicles other than Bitcoin. probably because I know now that Ethereum has decreased and so with the decline that many people are currently investing in and so Ethereum also has good growth and can survive for a long time so now people expect Ethereum may exceed BTC

in fact everyone knows that Ethereum is the most useless token that was ever created! people only use it to either make profit when it pumps or create ICOs and scam others.

I dont think people want ETH to overtake bitcoin. They just want ETH more because of its usage to ICOs and smart contracts and when it comes to processing fee it is a lot cheaper and more faster than Bitcoin.

People want eth to pass btc because a lot people who are new into cryptos have enough bag of eth at their disposal and they want it to pass btc so that they will be mega rich, it is easy to have 1 eth compare to 1 btc.

Agree with your comments. Most ICO projects use the ERC20 platform. So if ETH replaced Bitcoin's number one position, we would definitely be good people because we were involved in bounty campaigns.

Ethereum has a very high volume of coins in circulation which means that many people have a lot of ethereum coins that they are holding. So they want the price of ethereum to go very high. If the price of ethereum goes as high as people want it to then a lot of people will become millionaires from the ethereum that they are holding

There are always elitists that call all coins besides btc shitcoins and their favorite target is eth.

Eth is more than just a coin, it is an entire ecosystem of smart contracts, businesses, and interconnectivity.
It has active development on it and continues to improve.
The actual use case of eth becomes a pain as the network gets congested, but plasma cash will help things immensely.

For me, personally, I would rather have three or four coins as the top coins who have similar market weights.
I don't think it's healthy to have just one that dominates.

Back in the Apple Heyday, iphones dominated the cell phone market.
Now that it has become distributed more, it is forcing all companies to push the boundaries of their tech and price costs even lower.

That is not realistic, people forget that this is mostly a market of currencies and when it comes to currencies there is always one that dominates the others, right now the most dominant currency is the US dollar and before that there was the pound and the farther you look into the past you will see there was always a dominant currency and this era is not going to be an exception.
