WE NEED MORE GIVEAWAY THREAD!

Anyone up for that?
Maybe we can collect into one pot to distribute? Let's say, 10k / user, free?
If some of us chips in let's say 30-50k, maybe we can spread the word out more?

My pool is up again.
Everything is still in place, nothing will be reset. You don't have to worry about your coins on http://lot.no-ip.biz

the problem with your pool is that it has a shitloads of orphans. Now im not a techy so i dont know if this is your fault. But with deviant's pool i don't get many orphans. Whats up with that?

Groovy, I switched to your pool. Let's mine some.
EDIT: hm, 5 min into connection, still can't see my hash online. :/

Most of the late orphans happened while the ddos was active.
Also most other pools don't list the orphan blocks as those blocks get flagged orphan right after broadcasting them and their cronjob only runs every other minute. So by the time the script is looking for new generated blocks the rpc server lists the block as orphaned and the mpos-php findblock script does not add them to the database leaving the current round open.
On my pool the cronjob is executed 3 times a minute. That allows the script to add generated blocks to the database before they get flagged orphaned.

Edit: I changed the script so the round will only end if a block was found that has at least 2 confirmations. That will delay the round end a bit but not change the payout

Glad to see http://lot.hackshardgaming.net is getting some luck and found that block, especially after all those nasty DDoS.

BTW does anybody know if and when Lot is getting to Cryptsy?
Actually as Lot is still a coin in its infancy I'd hate to have it too publicly exposed, the difficulty skyrocketing and casual miners like myself without a decent rig forced out of the game.

better get the coin on cryptsy quick, or it will die.

you can help: go to cryptsy's feature request forum at https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/45274 and click on "like this idea"

only 21 likes right now. DOGE (https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/45115/) has 37, and GRA (https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/44936) has 52!!! wtf???

COME ON GUYS, WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Nah I don't think it will die, too many people amassing lotto coins right now Smiley
On the other end I think too much publicity in too little time can do more harm than good.
Look at what happened to doubloons, its difficulty was very low and only few people were mining it, it was/still is a joke coin with a quirky difficulty adjustment and nobody really was interested in making profit from this monopoly money. The moment it was published on coinchoose everyone was mining doubloons for a few hours, the difficulty got to the ceiling and now it's going to be a very long while before things go back to where they should.

I'm not a techy and I'm sure this is not going to happen to Lot, but still....

I see you have reset your pool again causing me to lose all my coins AGAIN..   nice work.
Your pool is a joke.

There's no reason to be a douche. Hackshardgaming's pool is not a joke, not even close with the coin's I've been pulling out of there. Trust me, I lost way more than you when the DB crashed, and I never thought twice about continuing to use it. The DB getting damaged was not within his control. It's the wild west out here; you're gonna lose a wagon or two from time to time.  Wink

All of the LOT pools were getting DDOS'ed last night. He had to reset the DB, and either there are stability issues or he is still getting attacked.

Just use: http://lot.no-ip.biz until it comes back up.  Smiley Watch out for the 10 LOT TX Fee though...  Roll Eyes

This thread user has created an awesome altcoin traking tool that is free! Ask him to add LOT Lottocoin to the list of altcoins you can choose to track. It add up the amount of coins, the market price etc very nice!!!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=371319.msg3968220#msg3968220

The problem is, we need an exchange that can show him the API for the price... Help is needed!
