If you really wanna invest for a long term (year or more) then choose only fundamentally strong coins, and preferentially select blockchains like EOS, ETH, FSN and others. Almost all of them have good potential to give a huge profit on a long distance.

I think a good investment is by way of long-term investment. because the increase in the price of coins in time factor affect the user save their investment.

Long-term investments are very risky, you need to analyze and read a lot about each coin / token in order to understand what kind of project it is and whether it will be in demand in the future. But also long-term investments are most profitable. Personally I am a long-term investor only by 90 percent, the remaining 10 are everyday trades (which also yield a profit)

Well long term investment is pretty neat specially if you're financially stable. If you're on a crisis might as well do short term investments. The goal of long term investment is to maximize your profit within years time (5-10 years) if you could wait patiently and calmly, then it might be good for you.
Priorities, depends on your stability. Since you're here in the forum, investing in coins would be worth the shot. Do invest in BTC and ETH (if you have the money) but if not, go with other altcoins that fits to your budget. And of course, think through what you're up against and don't be scared if the value's dropping, it'll certainly come back twofolds or more.

I see lont-term investment as the most secure and the easiest way for investment.
Now, it is only the beggining of crypto and it will grow more in nearest couple of years.
And it is very unlikely, that this industry will die.
That is why, i believe in long-term investment of main coins like BTC or ETH.

I choose coins like LTC, NEO, CS and Monero as long term investments. I invested by selling my etheureum and bitcoin to the coins because I have confidence that the coins will improve in the future. in contrast to short-term investments, with you investing in the long term you will lose panic when the price of the coin falls because I have the confidence of the coins that I hold of potential future.

Technically, yes it does bring huge profit in the end compared to short term since

The goal of long term investment is to maximize your profit within years time (5-10 years).

But as a long term investor you should be ready for the risks you're taking. "the longer you have to invest your money the bigger the risks you can take". If you're thinking about long term goal like college fund or something, then long term investments may be suitable for you.

But such examples are rather rare so the main challenge is to find such good projects on early stage (ICO or right after exchanges listing). I would suggest to invest 75% of your money in blockchain platforms for long-term investments and use only 25% for short-term. This is my strategy and it works well.

In general, I think that the crypto-currencies have just been created precisely for this kind of investment, because with such a pace of development of the crypto-currency sphere, it will be very a pity after a few months of investing to earn less than you could earn if you did not withdraw money, but would remove them in a year or in 5 years. I have invested BTC way back 2015 and hold it for a very long time until I sold it last December 2017 for about 18,000$    That is the power of long-term investment, holding coins is my bread and butter when it comes to crytocurrency world. I have a business here in Philippines, and 30% of my profits monthly are alloted for investments in cryptocurrency. Right now, I am holding differents coins whice are BTC, ETC, LTC, EOS and Ripple, I see this potential coins or altcoins that could bring huge profit margin in the future. I chose them because of their potential growth, sustainability, security and profitability. You have to do research before getting into something that's involve with money in order for you to avoid lost, I suggest that you peak at least TOP 20 coins in the market today in order to have peace of mind, just avoid coins that do not have solid support from the community and developers.
