Solo mining won't do anything for you until fully synced, but you can mine on a pool any time.

"How to upgrade

If you are upgrading from a previous version, you need to close client and delete all files from application data files directory, except for diamond.conf and wallet.dat."

Already done that, of course, twice, but i keep stucking at block 197199.

Any nodes for us?

After deleting all the files in the roaming folder and syncing back up, the sync stopped at 5566 blocks remaining. What could be causing it?

People mining with minar.cc beware!

Just noticed this about the two main DMD pools: Go to Statistics -> Blocks and check the Block Overview History.
dmdpool.net reports 11,808 valid blocks (All Time) with a value of 12,240 DMD.
minar.cc reports 80,816 valid blocks (it's a much older pool) with a value of 80,816 DMD!

So, dmdpool.net shares all blocks it finds with its users in their real value (as it should), and minar.cc values all blocks at 1 DMD!!!! When they find a 2-DMD, 8-DMD or 30-DMD block, they share 1 DMD with their users and keep the rest for themselves!!!!

I'm not mining with minar.cc anymore of course. But these guys owe the community some explaining.

Are you sure you have the last DMD client?
Please download it again here: http://www.dmdcoin.net/downloads/
Delete all files except from wallet.dat and diamond.conf. Then run diamond-qt.exe

PS. Do not forget to backup the wallet.dat

Also stuck at block 5566. Using new client, deleted all old files as suggested.
