Hello all,

DMDpool.net is online again.
DMDpool.net will share some extra coins as reward for mining DMD. Smiley We remind you that DMDpool shares the rewards of bonus blocks.

It s important to open a new (3rd) pool for DMD mining. So if anyone is interested in, feel free to found it.

You can mine using Linux, compiling the source code you can download here: https://github.com/DMDcoin/diamondcoin

Hodger, it's maybe bad luck. Any rejected block?

zuper,

i have only experience with windows based software. IIS 7, Windows Azure, C# and .NET etc
it seems none of the pool software sites are in MVC or something, and writing one myself will take too long.

So if i will need to support a 3rd pool i rather do something i fully understand. Apachi, linux and Phyton etc i don't know. php i don't want to know Wink

If you know of a windows website, the only one i could find seems bitcoin based: https://github.com/ervwalter/p2pool.info
I guess it only has to be a frontend connecting to a poolserver
Found this about the poolservers https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Poolservers

Still extremely slow...

Haven't been able to get to the dashboard or the Round info to see if the shares are all still orphans.

Sorry, too much traffic. We will improve the website performance very soon!

This sounds like a bagholder was just drumming up some publicity to get out of DMD...

Who is the admin of dmd.minar.cc? My account is locked and I emailed site support as it asked me to with no response for a while now... maybe he can respond here, thanks.

I'm still unable to get past blocks 9781/5566 when trying to sync. I have all the updated addnodes installed.

To pool operators:

Guys, congrats for your success in re-establishing DMD. Perhaps you didn't expect your efforts to be so successful, but they are, and this puts great strain to your servers. You need to upgrade capacity urgently because pool websites are slow and unresponsive (although the hash themselves seem to be going through). If the community can help toward this, let us know.

Alternatively, and maybe even better, somebody should establish a third mining pool soon. This coin has a bright future!

I probably lost my 35 DMDs,  sent them yesterday from dmd.minar to Cryptsy but they never arrived.

LOL  Mine's been trying to sync for over 48 hours now.  Network supporting this coin is terrible in every aspect, in my experience.

Pool sites are slow & unresponsive.  Tons of orphans (I have no problems with this on any other coin but DMD), won't sync, and support is lacking - to be generous.

Granted, I'm a nobody and a new guy, so I'm sure I'll get flamed for saying all this, but oh well...My humble opinion

Why would you get flamed? I understand that there's a new team trying to make good of this coin. We should be telling them what is not functioning properly, there's nothing wrong with that.

Pool websites are terribly slow, but for me this is a sign of success for the coin: none of the operators probably expected so much traffic! As long as the miners are hashing (and I don't see a problem there), this is going to be sorted by adding new server capacity.

The sync issue is more serious: I had no problem myself, but I see many people complaining. Can somebody check into it please?
