Sounds like you disagree with me less than 100% then.
How so? You said: No woman is going to explicitly choose to utilize one currency over another because of its name. That's just absurd.
And I 100% disagree with that statement. SOME women absolutely will choose DMD because it called "diamond". And I furthered that by stating that some men will as well. Nice try though. You agreed that the statement toward women is 'stupid and sexist' which is my ENTIRE POINT. I 100% agree with you that people make decisions based upon marketing and naming, (I'm a salesman by trade -- I'd be out of a job if this weren't true) however to say that DMD will be successful because it will attract ALL women is, as you said, 'stupid and sexist'. I doubt very much that the 'SOME' women that will choose it based upon the dumb name will have any effect on DMD's success, mostly because women make up only 5% of cryptocurrency proponents. Nice try understanding my point rather than arguing senselessly. Oh wait...

I am really surprised why multipools even try to mine this coin. That is extremely stupid and really damages their customers. With DMD retargeting on every block and every block containing just one coin, the multipool throwing in few GH/s might result in their mining just one coin and then the difficulty skyrockets. The multipool sitting there and continuing to mine is even more wasteful, because for all this much hashing they have, they will mine just one single DMD (ignoring the rare super blocks). DMD is one of the most multipool-unfriendly coins around.

how about DMD and EMD devs cooperate and try to promote their coins together maybe even release other ones togther
it could all run under the name of
digital gemstones:
DMD Diamond EMD Emerald add some more but try to keep rarity of different gemstones close to the real ones
if EMD have no longer active devs maybe the DMD devs can take over and try to create some multi gemstone wallet

can someone recommend a good and stable pool for DMD? I have been mining on http://dmd.minar.cc/ since this morning and my hashrate jumps from 250kh/s to 1200kh/s (cgminer shows stable 1000kh/s with no HW) and I've got like 0.9DMD confirmed?

The most reliable one is dmdpool.net. Their web front end sucks (VERY slow) but their backend and support are great. Plus, they are behind the dev team resurrecting Diamond!

Friends, be aware of scam here http://dmd.minar.cc/they locked my account with out any reason yesterday and I can't login back. Any of my mined cash that supposed to be transferred to cryptsy by auto cash out didn't get there. Obvious scam. First, we noticed that they are stealing the bonus blocks. Next, they go silent. Now, they simply lock people's accounts and stop paying altogether. It's a good thing that there are now many pools to choose from so we don't need scammers in this community. OP: I suggest you remove them from the list of pools, both here and in the DMD site.
