I am thinking to engrave my private key over the femur bone, in the occasion of my next knee operation. Covering the keys with a metal plate would make impossible to read the codes with machines. The painful process of opening my leg must be reason enough to stimulate me to hold my BTC for a long long time... but to do it you will need to share your private keys with the medical staff, what I think might compromise the security of your BTC Unless you are planning to do the surgery yourself with no help of other people.

Just engrave it on the metal plate, and put an hologram on it.

If OP is still hodling and continues to do so for the next decade he'll be the last one to laugh.
But why not trade and increase your position doing so, if you know the ultimate movement is up, you can trade with a great advantage, seams much more sane than holding few coins for a decade. If everyone was to think the same and hold and go away until 2025, the trending would actually decrease, unless the same persons wouldnt continue buying for that period. cheers

I'd like to thank everyone for keeping your coin off the market. If you hodleded, you're now a third poorer than you were @start of this thread, but that's such a petite bourgeois way of thinking! Bitcoin's not about money, it's about freedoms.

NO matter the downtrend, the bad news, and obvious disdain and dismissals by the tech giants, we gotta keep HODLING! It's just a matter of time before things turn up in our favor.

Or you can be your own bank, keep your coins in your wallet and get mooned in the next years.

... Or you can be your own bank...
Why do so many here want to be their own bank? Why not start off with something reasonable, like be your own plumber, or garbageman, or proctologist?

Why do so many here want to be their own bank? Why not start off with something reasonable, like be your own plumber, or garbageman, or proctologist? Because they actually just want to get rich quick by making an "own bank" excuse and hoping greater fool buy this dream and their bags but.. it won't work that's why bitcoiners lost over 85% in one year, they are going to lose all soon if they can't find more suckers to buy

There is no real bitcoin bank at the moment.

This is about hodling not cashing out in a panic. Bitcoiners who hodled made between 4.500 and 87.000% or so in the past. Only morons who sold made a loss. Granted: you are new to this so maybe you want to learn about what this is about .

Only morons who sold made a loss. ... Those who got in first & got out in time win, no different from any other pyramid scheme. Those who didn't get out in time haven't lost yet, but haven't made a penny either. OTOH, anyone who bought into this thing over the past year+ is under water

^Not being judgemental, just stating the obvious. What, specifically, do you disagree with?

Especially since the actual pump lasted 2 months. 2 months of pump and 1 year of dumps. Definitely irrelevant.
