Yeah the heatsink air flows are in a cross + so you cannot use a wind tunnel to cover both heatsinks with a big fan.

Can you measure the length of the heatsink and see if it's 184mm long.

2x 92mm fans on the top was my next idea, depends on length of heatsink though.

yeah heatsink is 183mm long, both fans are 92mm

You should be able to stick 2x 92mm fans on top with a lower/quieter RPM in that case.

I will do that for sure, at the moment it is not bearable.
two 92mm ~2000rpm on top, and the bottom one will be replaced too, just got to find the right ones

Are they both Sunon Maglev PF92251V1-000U-S99 DC 12v 4.7W?

It's 127.43m3/h 75cfm. I hope they didn't put a 110cfm on the top!

I'm hoping the bottom one is slower too! Dunno how I'd replace 75cfm to that heatsink! Cheesy

Top one is easy if it's 75cfm replace it with 2x 43cfm = 86cfm.

If the bottom fan is Sunon 2v 2500rpm, leave it as is. If it's faster we'll have to drop the hash speed to get it quiet.

Can a TP-Link run both Hex16B and Hex8A1 at the same time? Which do u set as default then?

Yes gator. It can. Set it to hex8 but watch it on startup if it will detect all boards properly. If not just reboot it

Marto please answer to my friend ^^

@Marto74

(1) I would like to ask for a refund for my order that is more than 2 months old now.
Order reference: UICAWGFJD

OR I would like to get a HEX8A1 card as a form of consolation Smiley

(2) Why don't you react to messages sent to technobit.eu?

Best regards,
  W

Marto, please answer.
Order ref is UICAWGFJD

order ref ?

ABOIPMBVS

Please do not send me the miner now. It is too late. I have made the order more than 4 months ago, so the miner is now completely worthless (due to drop in BTC value and increase of mining difficulty). I would like to have my money back please (you may send me in BTC).

Alright, so the bottom one is the pain in the ass Grin
Do you think about any replacement options? I'm still on the looks for good fans right now

BTW: 30 A are quite ok, so you get approximately 1,44W/GH with this settings ,right? (i have avg 250GH/s)

Even with that 4900 rpm, the heatsink is very hot. So i don't want to replace the fan  Cheesy

That is my rough measurement since i had to measure on 3 wire  Cheesy
So around 1,44 - 1,5 W/GH.

OMG guys the fans are worse than I thought! MARTO!  Shocked

BOTTOM FANS = Sunon PF92251V1-000U-G99/S99 = 92mm 12V 4.7W 4500RPM 46dBA 75CFM

TOP FAN = Sunon PMD1209PMB1-A(2).GN = 92mm 12V 12.5W 4900RPM 57.6dBA 120.2CFM

The thing is HUGE! Here it is next to a Hex16B!

I don't have time to mess with it today because it's valentines day and a couple of family birthdays too!

All the parts I need have arrived except the PSUs I had on back order.

I'll have to go hunting for a PSU tomorrow, can anyone confirm 850mV it runs < 264W?
I might just pick up a cheap 550W 44A to tide me over. It's using 17.2W just for fans! I'll get that down to 3x 2W hopefully.

On a serious note guys these fans are dangerous to little fingers. Keeps kids away/get fan guards. They only cost a few dollars.
