Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I am new to mining and I am interested in mining Earthcoin.
Can anyone give me assistance for setting up solo mining, or do you think it would be too difficult for a newbie?
I have looked into pool mining but it is also complicated.

You have the wrong version of cgminer, you need 3.7.2 or earlier, versions after that don't work with gpu's
i download another one. check it out. doesn´t work too. Damn so annoying. Still happy for some infos and tipps. Don´t know what i could do to fix it.  |

You have the wrong version of cgminer, you need 3.7.2 or earlier, versions after that don't work with gpu's
i download another one. check it out. doesn´t work too. Damn so annoying. Still happy for some infos and tipps. Don´t know what i could do to fix it. Post your configuration, most importantly the command line w/flags you are using to start CGMiner or a copy of the configuration file you are using, and what video card(s) you are using. Can't help much without this info. |
