Thats too much to get some unnecessary features.
Those $41,000 worth of bitcoins can be used to rent a house for a few months, buy a car, etc.
The forum owner doesn't require anymore Bitcoin and therefore isn't going to lower it. Because, other donators who donated 10 Bitcoin will be mad. |

The amount "10 BTC" is set in Aug 2011 (you can see on page 1 that this thread was created on August 19, 2011, 08:29:22 AM). But, theymos has mentioned several times that he has no intention to change the threshold. |

But the 10btc will always be worth 10btc and that's the price it is to donate. I think maybe some other donator ranks could be implemented, but it's not essential. I don't think people would want to donate big accounts now just incase bitcoin rises again lol.
