Does anyone know if this calculator is relevant for using qqminer? http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/litecoin-mining-calculator/

Meaning is the average days per block still accurate? If so, what hash rate do you input? The hash rate you experience with qqminer which is considerably higher than the hash rate using cgminer.

Glad you're back but you need to be more active, someone just cloned this coin and is trying to promote it.

Getting sick and tired of the clones popping up every 5 mins.

Hi guys, about to mine now. Just having trouble. When changing the pool-miner.bat, what do I change for the POOL*IP*PORT thing?

I replaced it with stratum+tcp://stratum.cipherpool.com:8842 , didnt work, any help?

Thanks a lot .

That should work indeed.

I'm mining at http://qqcoin.cryptovalley.com now, and I use:

Quote
qqcoinminer -o stratum+tcp://server1.cryptovalley.com:1212 -u Don007.1 -p x --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316 -I 18 --thread-concurrency 15000

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

What system are you working with? For me that looks like an hardware error / failure or something, as I haven't seen that once.

Try to remove the "I" and the thread concurency, does that work?

This is what happens when the --thread-concurrency is set too high for your particular setup. Try lowering it a bit.

Alternatively, you could start low, say at --thread-concurrency 4100, and keep raising it by 200 or so until it no longer loads, then go back down to the highest one that works.

As I said I'm quite new to this, is the Wallet being out of sync by 9500 blocks a problem?
My last confirmation was at 19:03 for something that was mined at 15:57

Yes. Your wallet should sync before you mine. You may find out that a lot of those blocks are orphans when you restart the client.  Undecided

When I started yesterday it did sync and I was ok till about 1am GMT when it started to lag on the sync.. I have'nt restarted anything, but the miner keeps finding blocks and then the older entry in wallet gets a confirm. is that right??

Id say without a doubt that you should restart your wallet and make sure it's synced before you mine any further. To not do so is to risk building up a rather large pile of mostly nothing.  Shocked

Balls!!

I've restarted the wallet - and its sync'd....
