do we actually have any devs here on the forum other than Invisible?
we've been discussing fiercely for 2 weeks and got the cryptocoinnews article ready and everybody is ready to go out and spread the word, yet we have to get the green light from devs who we never hear from. this is kinda getting me demotivated and disappointed, and i'm not the only one.

Invisible has been busy recently, but what about the other devs, why don't we hear a word from them? why can't they discuss this stuff with us or give us their opinion and let us start our work finally? if they want to wait with marketing then they should let us know, if they don't give a shit about TiPS getting a wide audience or about a passionate community supporting the coin, then they should also let us know so that we can find another project. we've been the first currency with working mixing service for some time now, but no body knows about it outside this thread. guess why..

That's kinda the same what I was thinking. So many contributions from talented and motivated people. Tips could really fly, yes, they're gaining value, but they could really get big, if we would promote them more. But instead, it kinda feels like we would been hold back. So I agree with id10tothe9, the devs need be more often around here, and get things done. Decide. Give the green light. For me, this signifies a bit of poor leadership. I like this coin, but that's also demotivating me.

The team is always available on IRC, not sure if many of them check the thread but I try to keep up with it as much as I can Smiley
But I've been away for the past few days so I haven't been that active here, I'll have to catch up with what's going on.

Whoa that looks great, the logo is very nice too. Pending other entries (has there been any other entries? I haven't seen any) I think you're the clear winner Smiley

Invisibel had asked if there were any other entries. I was just reminding him that all of those existed.

And I agree 43 votes is not much but as for Fayens logo is there a number as to who agrees or is it all just what has been posted on this thread? Because if there is no number then how can we know if more people like it then the others.

Also, having people in this thread say I like the logo is  great and all, but at the end of the day if they do not know the other options then how can they make a choice which is better?

Until a vote takes place I don't see how you can go forward with Fayens logo, or any other logo for that matter. Unless Invisibel goes authoritative and makes the choice on his own, and even then I doubt that choice will be based on just seeing a single logo.

Not knocking the logo, I have said before it is a beautiful logo that i'm sure took plenty of time, I am not a fan of the colors chosen for the coin but it is still a fine design, but side by side who knows which will be the favored design.

The team is always available on IRC, not sure if many of them check the thread but I try to keep up with it as much as I can Smiley
But I've been away for the past few days so I haven't been that active here, I'll have to catch up with what's going on.

it's good you're here invisible, we need to sort out some stuff as soon as possible, and there is a good load of stuff you need to catch up with from the last few weeks i guess Grin

most importantly, in the recent weeks the community was very active and there is a lot of potential and skills in the group, like Fayens design skills and jtbcoins marketing expertise and lots of ideas and motivated people to support the coin. we need to find a way to harness that and not let this good energy go to waste, and for that we need to collaborate well with the devs and set some structured way of work to channel the ideas and get projects done, one after the other, like a mad projects machine!!

right now the communication with devs is very bad, and that's why after lots of discussion and developments on this thread somebody had to catch up with the devs on IRC to see what they think, and they didn't welcome the new ideas very much and a compromise was made to keep FedoraCoin while focussing on TiPS for the marketing. but it was not discussed here, only briefly on IRC. and I think the logo of Fayens was not agreed upon or disagreed, we don't know what logo we should take, and there is an article that has been ready and waiting to be sent to interested news sites but we still got no green light or discussion with devs though people here agreed on it.

so I think first, these few things must be discussed and get over with as soon as possible, so that proper marketing with the correct image of the coin can get started. and then we need to set a solid way to get some good synergy flowing, while devs work on new things, let the community support the coin, stay in tune with the devs, let ideas flow between the two and they must work together and communicate all the time. that's what I think is needed.

jtbcoins suggested a good methodology to go about marketing, and I think lots of us would vote for him to be a coordinator of that if he wants. I would also suggest getting a similar structure for bringing new ideas of projects e.g. if there are ideas about features that could be implemented or new markets to penetrate then the ideas can be posted on the main TiPS/FedoraCoin forum in a think tank section, the ideas get refined and when something good comes out they are moved to a next level section to be discussed by devs for example if it's a feature how to implement it, or if it's marketing then to coordinate etc. and this thread here can be for getting the word out and all other stuff. we could discuss such a structure of work here so we can have organized creativity Cheesy.

I think TiPS can be a very successful cryptocurrency and it has what is needed, so let's get it there!!

As far as I have seen this is THE BEST explanation of the world of Fedoracoin TIPs as it currently stands.

If I am correct Invis will be back in full on Tuesday, so we may have to be patient until then, but as is stated above IRC can be a good way to make baby steps until then, with the other Devs.

Also is there a specific signature that everyone is using?

No bad feelings here, I was just saying that because of the 10 pages of this thread occupied by a discussion about the logo which led to choose Fayens'  Wink

But as you said, it is a good thing to let us know about all the other options and there was no proper vote around here, much more like a consensus.

Anyway I'm sure Invisibel will have his word on it when he'll come back on tuesday.

This is market manipulation. A big whale has averaged his buying price at around 50 and tries to sell it back to you at 70+. Easy money.

So every time a coin goes up, it can't be interest in the coin, it has to be market manipulation?  Cheesy Cheesy
Always the whales, pumping coins. I think the interest in this coin is rising, people start noticing and hence, buying it.

Invisible, can you please fill out the form on the bottom here?
https://www.coinpayments.net/coinreq

Lots of merchants are using coinpayments.net to accept altcoins. So we need to be in there! Our own payment processing can't replace this at a whole.

I believe this was mentioned a few pages back.  Love or hate Dogecoin, we should try to copy this tactic and create an app to allow for tipping on Youtube.

BIG buy walls are building on cryptsy  Shocked
This is market manipulation. A big whale has averaged his buying price at around 50 and tries to sell it back to you at 70+. Easy money.

So every time a coin goes up, it can't be interest in the coin, it has to be market manipulation?  Cheesy Cheesy
Always the whales, pumping coins. I think the interest in this coin is rising, people start noticing and hence, buying it.

I agree - I'm one person who just discovered TIPS and bought right as it started going up (lucky me!), so I don't think its out of the question that there were others like me doing the same and that this helped push up the price. On the other hand, I would have thought increased interest would lead to a gradual increase rather than a sudden surge, so perhaps a whale noticed a bit of increased buying and decided to lead the bandwagon on a charge instead of just clambering on for a slow ride. You don't become a Whale by being stupid or fighting the market - you buy the coins that are going up anyway!
