Everything would be fine if the bounty managers set limits on the company. I always watch how many people participate in the company and what a reward. I draw conclusions to sign or not.

It's hard to get a token in the market right now. Even if you get a token, most of it is below the offer price, so the reward is dying when the market is bad.

So the bounty pool doesnt bother you at all? Just sign-in in any bounty with few participants and thats it ?
I'm asking because I'm tired of participating either in scam, either in overcrowded boundy and receive few bucks for a 2-4 month work.

I don't see bounty as having died even as a lowly member, it is however important to pick and choose the right campaigns to take part in to maximise your time v reward. Signature campaigns can get over subscribed so why not look at doing other things also. Creative elements can often payback very well as another choice.

I think that the number of participants has grown very much, and people who have several accounts. Perhaps if there are restrictions on the participants, then the income will be greater.

I personally do not think so, why people still believe the assertion that bounty is dead. As far I am concern, bounty is not dead. New projects are being introduced day in day out. So fellow members let’s relax look for good projects.

The bounty has not died, but the bounty has become more and more boring. The low-quality tokens can no longer attract more people. I have seen a bounty participant’s signature campaign for 3 months. It’s ridiculous to only exchange tokens worth 0.01 ETH.

I think that Bounty does not die, well, at least in 2018, as there are new Bounty and ICO.

I understand why people think that bounty is dead. There are many ico in the market and it is really hard to know weather it is legit or not , most people think that bounty is dead because os scam companies and we cannot blame them ,we know for a fact that there are many scam companies nowadays.

Obviously bounties are losing their worth for a while now. But we can't categorically say it is dead but it may be dieing though.

I almost don't dare to share, but I recently found out I will earn about 18 tokens of a 100m total supply project, after doing well over 150 (unique) tweets and several retweets. Was very fond of the project (still am) and have promoted it every chance I had. Was complimented by their team for all my efforts. Then they postponed their ICO and with it the bounty. No biggie, but I figured I'd start counting stakes and total stakes to find out what I'd earned so far....18 tokens....I was quite shocked and sad. I figured this is my own fault, but little did I know they had accepted over 6000 twitter followers and they had changed the stake rules where those with bigger followings got so much more stakes. I am still promoting the project, but stopped with the bounty (still running). One lesson learned, try and get a good assesment on how much you are able to get for your efforts (and believe me, I work hard, with quality posts and not simply plugging stuff Smiley).

In my opinion, the crypto market recent fall has caused this situation, most of ICOs don't raise enough money because people are afraid of additional losses, that push the team to adjust bounty rewards or to halt it. Even after joining the market, most of Tokens prices fall down to 1/5 or less, as well as there are much more participants than before, a lot of them came during the past altcoins season as a result of the great hype in that time.

Great topic, thank you. Bots and multi-accounts kill the bounty, unfortunately some of the bounty managers have the same attitude.

How can you say that? There are several bounty programs which are going on. I've heard of SET (save environment token). They are currently conducting their bounty program and you could participate in them. To know, visit https://www.set4earth.io/

As long as there are exchanges Bounties can’t die. It is the cheapest way to advertise their project. The number of participants are increasing so the rewards/share get distributed. Also number of projects not considered at ICO as they not reach to their target. It doesn’t mean that Bounties are not giving earnings. Check the Bounty before participating. Bounty is always be there.

I hope that generosity has lived, is alive and will live! Now there is a difficult period for crypto, and ICO makes small fees. We just need to wait until the market recovers, and there will be  many new successful ICO

I would partly agree with you because most of the project in the past one month couldn't even reach their soft cap and there's so many people into bounty now thereby making the rewards for hunters reduced. So it's still a matter of interest and good project. In summary, bounty isn't dead!

Guys hello to all, maybe somewhere that already created such a thread, but I'll try to ask again Smiley Recently, I increasingly see that people get quite ridiculous amounts for participating in the bounty, for example, when compared with what was 5 months old back, the amounts are absolutely ridiculous. Do you think this is a temporary phenomenon? Or is the bounty dying? Thanks to everyone, I really want to hear the opinion of people of the rank of Hero and Legendary.

Help us in the fight against bots and scammers!

Link on thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3200601

The forum should also have a regulation regarding these scammers or atleast flag campaigns associated with scammers like tokensuite. It do not just tarnish the name of the credibility of the bounty threads but also the approach of people when it comes to upcoming legit ICOs.

Yes, the bounty campaigns are paid less and less. While bitcoin does not start to grow, there's nothing to do.
