there are several site that do bounty this days and also the number of bounty hunters has increase drastically, thereby reducing the stake of hunter, You must just be strategic when choosing project to work for as scam ICO has also increase.

If you look at last year's projects, you can really see that the rewards were much higher!
But now there are a lot of participants in the ICO and nothing can be done with it!

I saw Preston Byrne say on Twitter that in the future bounty hunters could be held accountable to some applications of securities laws. Seems unlinkely to me. Anyone heard about that?

same things with me , this year bounty is huge different with last year bounty.
alot ICO scam their bounty participants , the other is cut the bounty pools.
why ? in my mind , i just think ,  the market is crash right now , alot popular coin in CMC are cheap nowdays , i remember , bitcoin and other altcoins falls from february 2018 till now , so alot project have less investor than last year ,investor afraid to invest in ICO right now and make alot project didn't reached their soft/hard cap , so their project decide to not paying the bounty participants or be scam.

Bounty is not dead, but we are making less profit from the Bounty now because more Bounty hunters are coming in, and now we are working hard to get a good Bounty.

Earnings in the bounty depend on the mood in the market. Now the market is red, low capitalization by the all markets, a drop in interest from investors, top 100 coins are getting cheaper. Another reason is the rigid regulation of the ICO by the SEC.

Let's wait and hope that the market will grow in September-October 

I agree that in such a market there can be no question of big incomes from the bounty, because even good projects can not raise money. I'm not talking about a large number of scam. All bounty hunters are hoping for improvement, otherwise the number of those wishing to work for a penny will fall precipitously.

As long as new projects gets developed through the utilization of the Blockchain technology, Bounty programs will continue to reign. It is just a matter of studying the project before participating in their bounty program because not a projects are worth spending time on.

Hi there!
 Personally i don't think that bountys are death, there are still alot of good bountys ongoing. A bounty is needed by alot of companies to promote there project to the masses. The amount of bountys isnt decreasing nor are the prices i guess.
But yeah if your reward was for example 300 coins, and these coins worth 0.5 ETH, you'd be better off 2 months ago when ETH was 600+. Maybe the overall market influences these bounty campaigns asswell, alot of ongoing ICO are giving lots of discount at the moment. This all because of the dramatic decrease of price of almost all crypto.

Lets hope that the greens are coming back soon!

As far as I can see there's a lot of bounties being born every minute. My only concern is how are this bounties going to perform. There are only a few I see in icomarks that has somewhat becomes successful and other mostly scams and others didn't reached that softcap. No softcap=no rewards for bounty hunters. So you have to be very choosy and study the ICO project before joining any bounties just to be safe.

I think scammer are really hard to fight because we dont know them. But in a bot i think we can fight them bexause not all people have a telegram other are just viewing in the social nedia.

I think that the main problem is not the increased number of participants but the fact that most of ico actually can’t manage to reach hardcap.. let’s hope that there will be a bull market soon...

Yes now it's way more difficult to make profit of bounty than before but I don't think it's dead

For sure, it is more difficult to make the profit from social media networks, but unique video content, articles, and signature campaigns will always relevant and profitable.

Still Bounty will be here for a long time. I think there will be a different gift if the project manager changes the rules so we must follow the allocation budget. But I don't think all gifts are real and some people create gifts for other purposes.

of course this has become a problem lately with many incidents regarding payments, starting with a lot of scams so this forum must be a solution to limit this, there must be tighter regulations so that as a bounty seeker can still follow without fear. so this is the duty of all involved, so that there is no more room for scam bounties by harming us all.

bounty is not dead, but you might join a bounty that has a small allocation but who joins very much so you get a little payment ,, if you want to get a lot of money then at least you must have a legendary rank account ,, but that is very unlikely when this is because for the rest of our lives we will be trapped in the account rank we have now

You are doing premature conclusions , the market is still there are good and successful ico projects , which are very generously pay a bounty for the participants

Do you know why merit has been implemented? I analysed statistics of new users, in december-january there was like +15% of users in each month. Compared to previous flow, it was like +2% each month, so this measure at least helped to farming ranks. It is getting tough to receive good payout in bounty

Well, it all dependent on the project one lock horns with, otherwise joining a good project with a solid team and getting a good manager for the bounty campaign are still a good way to go. I just do selected bounties. I don't join the ones that promise heaven and earth.
