Important Mandatory Update v8.7.3

You must update to v0.8.7.3 BEFORE block 60,000.

v8.7.3 is now available via github or download links for Windows compiled.  particled daemon for Windows now include too if you want to use.

Revised reward algorythm is detail in 1st post, with revise it will take almost 10 years for mining complete, but still include superblock reward to encourage the miner.

I actually like this idea a lot. I don't really see the need to make it look like a physical coin. Perhaps it does need to for the more mainstream audience. However I still think the particle effect would be cool if done right.

Agree too.  Not really like the "coin" form.  Digital particle type effect...yeah, cool!  How to make.  Maybe can find something to work from like:

New very pro logo, public site, content and forum phpbb3 with pro theme.  I have invest some real $ into it and buy good design :-)  Try to give community all tools need for this to explode.

Some things community can start think of: 
- who might want to do guest post on blog on new site so can have constant update, in exchange you can have backlink/referral link in post.  When site up I let you know you can register and I will make you author and approve posts.
- who can have twitters about prt and I will pull feed onto site.  maybe all use #prt hashtag.
- if you want particular forum areas
- who knows how to tweak reddit and make cool like unobtanium's reddit, i don't understand how to do

Keep suggest and constructed criticism coming and I keep push ball forward :-)

Anyhow, the client works fine on both Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and 10.9 Mavericks and was compiled for those.

Good work so far on this coin, I think it will go places

I'm sad I missed the release of this coin though as it has a far greater exponential decay in mining rewards than Quark did with 50% of the coins mined in the first 10,000 blocks.  Makes it impossible to catch up as a miner now to people that just mined one day at the release.  So likely this coin will likely get attacked even more than Quark by people that do not understand the planned quick majority mining phase to get the coins out and available for use.

Hope early miners are selling cheap cheap so Particle can get as well and fairly distributed as Quark.  If not it will just be a whale party and get beached.  I'm heading to CoinedUp now to buy!

Im not an english native, maybe someone supporting particle is and willing to help, since this is a community effort. The diagram looks nice btw, slider would work well but static background header will be much nicer than header sliders. Check this out http://trackingtime.co if you could mix it up with gold.org it would really look well. Trust me, you weren't missing much! The difficulty at the time went through the roof, so any dreams about being in first and mining craploads were dashed straight away...

I still mined a lot more than I do these days of course, but nowhere near as much as I expected to!
