Just going to have to give this coin some time.  Wait for it to prove itself.

Well, since there are over 600 in circulation right now, what that shows is that there is very low willingness to sell at this price. Which puts the order books pretty thin, so there is not enough to be bought for someone to buy relevant amounts. So as the coin gets more traction,  the price will go up many folds because the coins are already available, just too cheap to sell. Being on a better exchange will surely fix that. Meanwhile it's constantly on a uptrend, and logically will rise exponentially as the order books fill up as price increases.

Once some of the Altcoins die out, then bigger exchanges will pick up the altcoins that survived.

[WANTED] Testers

I'm developing a gambling website and I desperately need people who could test it and give feedback, so I would know if I'm going in the right direction. Especially, since I'm not going the common way and, instead of coinflip/dice/casino games, trying to think of something of my own.

It would be awesome if any of you could register/login/play around with "Lucky9" game and send me some feedback/opinions. I'd be super thankful for that! It's a bit of the problem, that "Lucky9" needs more users to play it to be alive (usually 9 bets ends the round, that could be increased or decreased), so I think I'm going to add a timer (x minutes after first bet to end the round, if bet count < y, players get refunded) to fight that.

Site is currently running with test coin "ABC", you can generate more funds by going to your "wallets" page.

http://altsino.com/

I still have a bit work to do, maybe think of another game and add it and then I'm going to launch it with Particle coins at first (maybe some others later). Assuming any of you will actually like it, since what's the point otherwise Smiley

How long is a round?

Agreed.  There are so many scrypt coins due to that "do-it-yourself" website!

How long is a round?

Currently, the round ends when it reaches "Bets in round", which depends on table. I assume (probably wrong) that if there would be enough active players 9 bets would fill in pretty fast. Alternative to that would be, as I've mentioned before, set a time limit to a round and refund players if there's not enough bets at the end of it. This of course has another drawback - if there aren't enough players, all is going to happen be a couple of people betting and getting refunded again and again.

What about a computer generated player(s), but if the computer wins it takes nothing (or a very small percentage) and the pool goes towards the next game?

That might work. Currently website bets on 0, in case o winning takes a defined percent from bank and moves what's left to another round. I think a version where you have only 3 numbers to choose (Lucky3) would be much faster moving. Also it would make much more sense to hide player bets of the running round.

Hey, guys, so I was thinking a bit and have a couple of ideas related to promotion of Particle coin...

* are we trying to get to new CoinMarket.io exchange? We should really go to pre-poll thread where they are asking for traiding pair suggestions and nicely ask for PRT/LTC PRT/BTC. And after that we vote. And then - new exchange! Yay!

* since there were a couple of generous giveaways here in the thread, so maybe someone with some coins to spare could do a public giveaway in a separate thread? Maybe that's been done before, sorry, but I haven't checked. Public giveaways usually generate more hype and "recruit" new interested people.

* so I am making a simple altcoin gambling website (altsino.com) and one crazy idea just hit me. For every new user system creates his PRT wallet automatically and... adds some amount of coins to it. Of course, this can be easily abused, so those funds will have to be only spendable in games and not withdrawable right away. This idea will require a bit of investment, so only future will tell if it will actually be feasible.

If you would like to test and play with alpha build of new wallet:

https://mega.co.nz/#!4INUhQ7B!BNW7kxRXqE-Ap2kB7qQ3GxXkSV1GdOlLnZCTd7RVYpE

More info and instructions:

http://forum.bitparticle.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=19

You have to edit config file with your rpc settings, etc.

Remember this is alpha build, is not feature complete, many things incomplete or missing, and you should backup all your stuff first etc.

Have fun, and start to think of apps you might want to see or build.
