somehow i believe the criptsy "grand opening" for particle will happen exactly at the right moment when particle gets ready for it.

btw, i don't know if coinedup has latency problems, the page is not available Smiley

What problems CoinedUp does not have? Today it's really getting on my nerves :/

Edit: just saw that they have "The fastest transaction engine" written on their twitter page, which is quite hilarious.

I just got "Page is not available" after clicking withdraw button... If there's hell, it must feel like this.

and think about a ticker for that market... it would be in a form of cmd prompt with a ping -t to their server, so you can see when it MAYBE works

Their API should display current trade price and approximate trade price when you finally reach the trade page.

and it should have something like:

if tradeValue<100 go to minePool
else go to tradePage

I think the next logical and easier step would be to get PTR on coinex.pw and coinmarket.io before cryptsy.

+1 They want cryptsy to increase it's value. Not because it's the best. Far from it.

If they put it on cryptsy my 1st sell order will be 1 PRT @ 10,000 satoshi.  Grin

A lot of us could care less about immediate value. Cryptsy is the platform shouted a lot because it historically adds a lot of coins so the best shpt currently. A lot of people just want the ability to exchange properly and gradually increase awareness. Cryptsy offers that. Even better would be bter.com. They are a little more discriminating about which coins they add so adding particle would show this is no joke. But anyone following particle knows its no joke. Maybe just need a little bit more hype for people to hop on board.

Nonetheless, once the wallet is released, every crypto news worth a damn will post articles about it, so the publicity is coming soon.

Getting PRT on cryptsy is about volume and real business, investors trust that site to send big amounts of BTC (ofc I'm not saying it's the only one)

CoinedUp gives me nightmares.. my whole little trading action .. (just wanted to buy a little bit more of this wonderful coin) ..took me about 4 to 5 hours..where as about half an hour was the trading iteself..uhhh ....how can anyone seriously operate on that platform???

we should try to get that coin on coinex.pw somewhen

Trading PRT on more platforms is the urgentest thing now.
The only Chinese trading platform www.guogao.com is kind of non-stable.
We are voting here www.szb123.cn/prt/ to prompt PRT to http://niubtc.com/ and C-net.

Greetings from Chinese PRT fans.

I have been on Guogao this whole last 10 days... it's a madhouse. It's great when it works.

But it's spent 4 days completely offline. And during the time it's up there are always problems of some kind
including no withdrawing and deposting.

Some money trapped there now.

BUT - that being said I actually think they are legit and had no idea how hard running an exchange is. They
did get some of my lost coins back for me.

Not for the feint of heart. Hope I see my money again this week.

Coinedup is 2-3 minutes per click. But I love their action. Too bad it takes 100 times longer to happen than it should.

BTC-E is like a old mans home. Nothing happens there but penny pinching and stuff. They add no new coins. Boring.
They could have taken over but oh well. Great site though.. heh.

Cryptsy - BTER - BTC38

are the only serious exchanges that can handle traffic and add coins.
I really had fun with DOGE on BTER.

Moonmoon, when will you be releasing the wallet?

Or a beta? Will you be able to use a different coin daemon with the same wallet?

I think this would be something to look into if not. Then the source code doesn't necessarily have to be open immediately.

unless you wanted it to be...

maybe i didn't pay attention because in most cases i read this late at night, but will it pick up particle:// links from browser? Like Skype does with Click to call. That will make things easier when buying stuff... No Paypal redirection or things like that, but still even more secure. Just click to pay for something in an online store, where the page will generate links with the price of article and comment to hold info about article and logged in user. Clean and simple  Wink

the signature says:
I run this: http://totalprt.de-ge.so/ which supplies the total number of coins to coinmarketcap.com for Particle.

try to put PRT/BTC, PRT/LTC and/or PRT/USD value. That will make me (and hopefully many other people) constantly have http://totalprt.de-ge.so/ open in browser and phone.

and there it is, first idea for a simple phone app - show selected PRT/xxx value in notification bar on the phone  Cool

and the other thing from your signature:
PartiCLepGX3Tjqo3mo19DbkAWawyJstLA Huh

Yes, it does this on windows and "some" linux.  Mac I know what needs to be done but I don't know how to do from .net app/mono, need to look into.  But on Windows 8 it is working great for me Cheesy

Well code should be ready tomorrow night but there is release packaging/docs etc. to do to do it right.  I am also think of add some ease of use things that might need another day.

I have not really built with forethought to support other daemon, but I suppose would be possible with some modification.  Would probably be good idea to avoid clone wallet for some time but this can be managed Wink
