I think I am going to go with this name:

CoinStrype

for our point of sale system.

please link me to a mining pool for particlecoin.
I will point my miners your way as soon as i get home.

http://prt.coinmine.pl is the pool I use, Feeleep does a good job keeping hackers away and the payout works flawlessly.  Hey I added you to twitter earlier today, go by the same moniker @bearishtrader Cheesy

Can we get http://www.cryptokk.com/ removed from the exchanges list on the first post please?

The message on their homepage states that it was hacked and all users coins gone!

I would like to invite the community's feedback on the name for our payment system.  I have picked up two names:

TransactionHash.com

and

PayShock.com

What do you all think about these names?  Personally I think transactionhash.com is kind of cool.

Also added CryptoKk.com to the OP and updated exchange list.

I think Transactionhash.com is too long.

I have created a Twitter at @ParticlePRT.  There is also @ParticleCoin that is maintained by someone from here.

I will outline our unique program this week.  It is something nobody else has done before.  Is everybody here paying attention, maybe we need a roll call or something Wink  Maybe i should buy that Reuters package where they take your picture on the big sign in times square in new york and have them put the particle logo up there...

Good stuff, Moon! If you are proposing that you will get Particle posters slapped all over the high rise buildings of New York, I better put another couple of BTC into some more PRT. Heh! Wink

Looking forward to the next couple of days!

Cheers.

Wink  There is a PR package from prnewswire where they will put your picture up on the Reuters sign in NY, I was just kidding that maybe I need to do that to get people's attention Wink

Yes, the next couple of days are going to be fun!

Yes, Jacky is right - transactionhash was a neat play on words, but it is really long.  We need a brandable/memorable name for the system.  Right now it is between PayShock and CoinStrype.  I think I am leaning towards CoinStrype.  It is hard to find good names that have available domains.  I must have gone through a couple hundred on PanaBee.

Done.  Arrgh, yet another one down.

People be careful out there with your coins, don't use exchanges as a wallet!  Your going to want to be withdrawing your coins to your wallets at least weekly soon anyway.  Wink

What is coming is not like karmashares where you have to exchange your coins for points.  Instead, you will be rewarded simply for holding your coins, similar to proof of stake but without the inflation of the coin supply.  Every period we will pull a report of address balances from the block explorer, and payouts will happen in the form of PRT which will also add buy pressure similar to the multipool system, because we will buy the PRT on the open market to payout the dividends.  Of course this also means you will want to withdraw your coins to your wallet before the reporting time, so that your balance is reflected, which will also remove liquidity and help support the price when we do our buys.

Greetings,

Should there not be a database of "Active" participants?
This would eliminate sending PRT to redundant addresses referenced in the blockchain...  i.e. lost PRT, lost wallet.dat  etc...

This is a good point.  Perhaps we can have a system where you register your receive address.  Actually, this is a great idea.

Maybe, send 1PRT to address xxxx to register.  You now have a list of active addresses?
