Exciting news, can't wait  Grin

Yes I have and I like it, if you send me the bbcode I will update the 1st post with it.

You can just hit quote on his post and it will then show the BBCode for you to copy-paste.

All views are my own, except those that I have subconsciously inherited from my parents and those that I have nicked from far cleverer people.

What is coming is not like karmashares where you have to exchange your coins for points.  Instead, you will be rewarded simply for holding your coins, similar to proof of stake but without the inflation of the coin supply.  Every period we will pull a report of address balances from the block explorer, and payouts will happen in the form of PRT which will also add buy pressure similar to the multipool system, because we will buy the PRT on the open market to payout the dividends.  Of course this also means you will want to withdraw your coins to your wallet before the reporting time, so that your balance is reflected, which will also remove liquidity and help support the price when we do our buys.

Greetings,

Should there not be a database of "Active" participants?
This would eliminate sending PRT to redundant addresses referenced in the blockchain...  i.e. lost PRT, lost wallet.dat  etc...
This is a good point.  Perhaps we can have a system where you register your receive address.  Actually, this is a great idea.

Maybe, send 1PRT to address xxxx to register.  You now have a list of active addresses?
Hmm. 1 PRT will be kinda expensive.  0.00001 PRT?

I like this idea because it keeps it pseudonymous so you don't have to register with an email address.  And then you can go to the site and put in your address to view reports and charts.

Will this make us the 1st pseudonymous dividend paying coin?

Can we get http://www.cryptokk.com/ removed from the exchanges list on the first post please?

The message on their homepage states that it was hacked and all users coins gone!
Done.  Arrgh, yet another one down.

People be careful out there with your coins, don't use exchanges as a wallet!  Your going to want to be withdrawing your coins to your wallets at least weekly soon anyway.  Wink

Moonmoon, have you seen that BBcode of the first post, which I made and what is your opinion about it?

I've been giving some more thought to the multipool idea.  It would be in addition to the other things we have planned.  Is it something you guys would be interested in?  What would you want support for?  Scrypt, Scrypt-N, SHA, and then you can CPU mine Particle against our existing pools while you GPU mine profitable scrypt coins, Scrypt-N, X11 coins, SHA256, etc against the multipool?  I could set this up once I have the exchange launched in a week or two.  But how would it work?  Any suggestions?  I'm trying to plan out the rollouts of the different things that are coming over the next month.  Where would you prioritize a multipool if we did one?  Would you mine on it?

The simplest solution is to get one of the big multipools already supporting payouts in coins other than BTC to add PRT to the salad bar.  Hashcows now pays out in multiple currencies like Hobonickels (HBN) and as of yesterday Quark (QRK).  I believe to add Quark it cost 10,000QRK so a quick guess would be a cost of 200,000PRT to get PRT added as a payment option.  I believe that is something the Particle Foundation would support (ie for example 100,000 from the foundation, 100,000 from user donations).

Would someone be willing to research this over the next week and find out what our options are?

moonmoon what if it will go to marge mining with scrypt -N leader VTC first minners can get coin easy other spreed canal than exchanges second more secure network with small Fee as PRT inflation are small . So You can complatly focus on client side code .About POS I think it has fundamental problems like with time and  minners can mine all chains without penalty.
