Yes, the pool owner scammed lots of coins last night and apparently left with the rest this morning.

I cannot confirm any scam from this pool..
I mined there from launch, 2.6 mils minted there and all came to my wallet without problem.. but it seems to me pool must be ddosed, or at least front end, as pool seems alive in cgminer

I don't know how much more obvious it could be. The pool owner posted here just a few hours back saying he was closing the pool down.

If you don't think you've been scammed it's proof that his plan worked. You should have mined a lot more than the 2.6 million you did, if you were mining from the beginning.

Give him a bad trust rating to ward off future victims.

*WTS* 90k Coinye for 0.05 BTC or best offer, serious offers only, please PM

LMAO, I'll give you 0.0035BTC for 90K. At 0.05BTC, you are bending someone over and doing something mean. There will be 133,333,333,333 Coinye Coins...almost a 1/7th in comparison to Lottocoin, yet you want to charge 20x the price?
Nonsense.
Check the diff level.
How many were minted? You can't compare this coin to LOT, nor any other coin.

Hey, smexy. Don't waste your time. Time's precious.

Fing hell, I only mined 22k on that pool and I left it running all night...who knows how much I could have made on a legit pool that stayed open..
What's your hashrate? I mined 15k there, 190khash/s.

The IcyHash pool has been closed due to excessive harassment and continuing DDOS attacks. There is no point in me implementing the DDOS protection even though I already have it. Take your hashes somewhere else, I don't want to bother wasting my time anymore. To those who were using the pool in an honest way, I apologize. The rest of you are rude and arrogant. Have a nice day.

I had no problem with Icy. It was so late and I was primed for coye.pool.pm (claiming DDOS, prolly just crappy service could not handle connections). I don't even remember how I ended up there, but once I started seeing accepted shares I went to bed. I've got a walletful this morning.

- Edit - pool closed under DDOS. I wish I had recieved some notice. -

- Edit - Still up in the air what is really going on here.

- Edit - pool closed instead of addressing accusations of fraud. I'm out -

In a very petty move, SPORK closed pool without letting current miners know or finishing payouts. Miners idled until I found out the hard way. Heading to his trust ratings to slam him for a while.

READ. It's impossible for me to pay you out when it's getting hammered with DDOS. When these idiotic accusations stop and the person who is doing it comes forward, then I will turn it back on so you can cash out. Until then, BLAME YOUR PEERS.

More relevant information on "spork985's" pools actions last night.

LMAO... couldn't have seen that coming  Roll Eyes

I still want to know why I mined for like 30 minutes on your pool during the 1000% round debacle, and when it was finally resolved there was a measly 3000 coin on my account.

Your pool reeked of scam last night.  I just hope you're waiting to pay out everyone that mined before you run away with their coins and say "oh well, too bad".

-Fuse

Yep, everyone mining the pool last night has a bad taste in their mouth, and the pool owner straight doesn't care. Not only that, but he apparently doesn't even know how to run a pool based on the posts he's made recently.

Sorry to everyone who lost coins with wasted mining power last night, and sorry to the guys who probably just lost whatever was still in their account on this pool. The site looks down, and I doubt it or spork will be back.

He knew what he was doing.  The 1000% round was likely on another wallet, with the cronjobs turned off on MPOS.  The pool mines the shit out of the coin on a separate wallet, and then he flips the switch back to the pool wallet and says "IDK what happened".  Even if the cronjobs had stopped, when the next time the cronjob processed, it would have queried the database and reported the missing blocks and payments.  I've had long rounds on my pool when the cronjobs got locked up.  You kill the process, force the cronjob with a -F switch, and it parses through the old records and catches up.

Scam.... 100% sure of it.

Exactly what I've been saying for the last 10 pages! Well, almost exactly  Cheesy
