For the first hour. Bitember was the best pool to use. As it had like 90% of the network after all the smaller pools started failing. But then bitember started lagging, probably DDOSd. I shut it down after that and went back to mining a different coin.

After that you should have switched to a different coin or a different pool. Looks like dedicated is doing well. But it's not worth it to me. I only wanted the most amount of coins in the least amount of time. So I road the gravy train while the diff was less than 1 lol. 500,000 coins in 1.5hrs with 1.7MH/s isn't too shabby.

Also if you didn't auto withdrawl your coins in 10000-100000 chunks, you're a moron.

It was fun watching the chaos though. Blocks were being found so fast in the first few mins, my computers couldn't even barely submit shares because blocks changed like 30x per second lol.

+1 I mined on Bitember for about 2 hours before switching to another coin, I got my payout of about 1.3million coins from him using the automated payout system. no issues at all. common sense this day and age to setup auto payment when people keep ddosing pools.

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

Null routed due to excessive DDOS attacks.

I've got some coins stuck there! Will I be able to withdraw it soon?

Either is fake, either is someone from those pool owners who scammed miners.

never use the same password for multiple pools.

Yeah that doesn't really work in the real world where you have to remember 500 passwords to 500 different pools.

Are you serious???

Write down on a piece of paper every poolname, username & pass. I number the papers so no details get lost.
Why would you compromise your earnings?
The solution: http://keepass.info/
Keepass password safe, encrypt your passwords with strong encryption and one master password. To be extra safe you can make different password files encrypted with a different passwords. I have one file with my wallet passwords, one with online banking info, one with forum and pool passwords and other crap etc.

There are also IOS and Android versions.
