Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

How do you deposit into crycurex? Do you put your own wallet address on there and then send? Doesn't seem to generate a wallet to send it there

Seriously guys, it will pay to wait it out. Even if all coinye millionaires sold now, they'd net $130/per million. And that is the price after day #2 of the exchange opening. What happens if the price goes full retard like LOT or DOGE?

What happened to the HACKSHARD pool? It (and my coins) seems to have disappeared! Sad

This reeks to a GIANT SCAM!!!

Or did I miss something and is this old news?

EDIT:

Just discoverd this message in a cached version of COYE.HACKSHARD.COM

COYE POOL NOW OFFLINE, POSTED JAN 14, 2014 AT 21:03 BY DEVIANTTWO
Due to current legal pressure, COYE pool has been taken offline.  All remaining currency has been sold to pay for the server machines.  We gave everyone a 12 hour advanced warning before shutting it down.  If you lost coins due to this I am sorry but they where only worth 1 satoshi at the time of the complete shutdown.
[/color]

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! I NEVER RECEIVED ANY 12 HOUR ADVANCED WARNING!! NEVER MINING AT HACKSHARD AGAIN, BUYING NEW SERVERS FROM OUR MINED COINS!!! IF THE POOL OWNER LIVED IN MY STREET I WOULD BURN HIS WHOLE CROOKSHACK DOWN!!!

News from Dedicated. The guy in charge is online now:

Quote
[18:40] <binaryclock> ALL CRONS WERE HUNG, RUNNING JOBS NOW
[18:40] <binaryclock> YOU WILL BE REWARDED RETROACTIVBELY NOW
[18:40] <binaryclock> no worries

*update* I can see my confirmed coin amount is rising and rising... so it seems to be true that nothing got lost Smiley

Hi,

Somebody told similar issue a pair of days ago... and it was nothing at the end. It seems that the server didn't show the correct confirmation info but actualy the data was correctly stored so the confirmations arrived ok

Oh, I understand the pain, wouldn't want to be in your shoes at the moment.
However... That message was posted on January 14th when Coinye was "dying". Today is January 22nd. That is 8 days without you looking at your own coins...
I have a feeling that you didn't care at all about Coinye at that time (what else would be the reason NOT to check your own coins for 8 DAYS, especially when the situation is as it was back than) and now that it is rising hard you want them back.

It sure does look to me as if COINYE just slapped you hard (and I hope that everyone that didn't care about the coin when it was "dying" will be slapped the same way)!
Yes, 12 hours is bullshit and that guy is an asshole but that doesn't mean anything to you because NOBODY will give you 10 DAYS to get your ass to the pool and withdraw...
