I believe the total networkhashrate for coinye is not correct. Of all the pools that I could find and are working the total is less then 1 gh/s of which pool.dedicated is the biggest one with 480 mh/s at the moment and is getting 42,5 of the blocks. Which would be in line if the total networkhashrate would be 1 gh/s instead of the 1,8 gh/s it shows now.
stupid thing is next difficulty will be calculated of this hashrate.

You do know what solo mining is correct? Idiot.

Yes I know what solomining is, don't have to call me an idiot. And yes that could account for the rest of the networkhashrate and also there could be private pools.

You're the idiot here. I never seen before that half of the networkhashrate would be of solominers. you need a major rig and lots of confidence in the coin and hope you get enough out of it at current difficulty.

Why are there no updates about the lawsuits against COYE?

There has not been one recent news mention for many days now. I would really like to know what the status is or any developments.

Like how far along is the process? What are the chances of him winning? Or the case getting dropped?

IMO, it'll take from weeks to months for any developments to happen.

The thing I don't understand, is who are they going to sue? I mean, there is no one to really go after.... that's the point of being decentralized.

Also, the name and image have all been completely changed, so what basis do they have for a case now?

They are claiming infringement on COYE and Coinye, as well as the "shutter glasses" which imo is utterly ridiculous since that trend started way back in the early 70s.

Coinye will take off with or without Kanye West or his blessing.

EDIT: The consensus is we are NOT changing the name of the coin. If anything we will change the logo on the coin to fishsticks or a gayfish without the glasses and if we need to change the name to get around the legal dispute and get on big exchanges...then we should replace the "C" with a "K" and be Koinye and KOYE. We get to keep the name and the publicity and they cannot say shit. It's a parody and they cant sue because of it. South Park was sued for their parody episode and Kanye lost that one.

I have a feeling it will come to that. Koinye Coin (KOYE).

The latest development (that I know of) is that Kayne's lawyers got authorized to research the identities of the people they were suing, which will probably never happen...

did anyone succesfully withdraw BTC from crycurex? still pending for me

I've had a withdraw that says "waiting" for about 18 hours or so at this point.  I sent their support an email about it this morning but have not heard anything back yet.  When I get some time later I'll drop into their IRC channel to see if they can look into it.

Edit:  Went to the IRC support channel and was told he is aware of the withdrawal issue and is working on it.  I did not ask for an ETA though.

Yeah, that's the latest development that I have seen, and that was from like 6 days ago. No new info since.

I think it will ultimately be a useless endeavor for them.

It's all about volume. Once crycurex becomes automated and established, we will see what the volume looks like. I suspect it will not be high enough though. We need people who really want to buy coinye to be willing to try buying at the exchanges. For that, we need to eventually get on one of the established exchanges. Who knows how long that will take...that is the unfortunate reality with coinye.

For the record, I am not bashing it and I hold many millions. I just want the community to really seriously think about how to resolve this issue. No big name exchange means coinye never flies. What do we do about this?

I don't think you idiots realize they are keeping the Coinye and BTC deposits 50/50 (not overall volume, just # of deposits) when things go automatic there will be WAYYY more coinye deposits than BTC. Demand will drop. It will crash.

I'm counting on it. I'm waiting for my chance to buy more at 2-3 satoshi.

Sell now!

6 satoshi is WAY higher than I ever thought I would get for this coin.

Better yet, just keep picking up those 13 satoshi buy offers. Those are devs trying to drive up the price. Not ACTUAL investors.
