trading: forum members do private trades using NDL or other currencies goods: instant noodles for NDL (for example)
Instant noodles is intriguing... though I'm not sure how private trades would be done appropriately. You up to applying any of those ideas for some NDL? 1. start with small amounts first to test it... wanna buy: 100000 NDL for 0.00010000btc NDL add: NdUvocpULck5yqKxH3imWWNiWvWp2gtksU
you send NDL first i send BTC when received both parties give each other (at least 1) merits on the confirmation post and positive trust rating including the risked amount if you have done several trades with good rating you become a trusted trader on bct and people could risk to buy higher amounts. 2. for noodles you could just post your local specialties and a price plus shipping. but this is more of a gimmick. something like: WieLihMen Vegetarian Instant Noodles 維力素食炸醬麵 (Product from Taiwan) 100,000NDL - 0.0001BTC + shipping to your country

Good to see the explorer working! Even if it gets slow, meh, it works. And wtf is this? There's someone on there with 1 billion NDL.....and here I was offering NDL for stuff. That guy should be the one paying, not me.
Thats right. But I think it must be an old wallet from the original dev, as even with very low prices back in 2014 at cryptorush (abt 0.5 Satoshi, sometimes much much lower, sometimes even much higher) it seems not possible to me to accumulate such a high number without paying at least 2000$, far more realistc would be 6000$, because the price ranges where significant amounts of coins where available, where always higher than the averages let someone suggest, if I remember it right, one should more take a median view on that price curves! Hey, its about 7 percent of the whole coins maximum of coins! phuuh ... . At least, let me tell you, I am not the guy, holding such a huge amount. ;-) So: My question on this is (and I never mined, so far): Is it really possible, that someone mined 1 billion since 2014? I can't believe that. ... I think its more plausible, that the dev ("His holy noodliness") branched them away, right before the ico. Greez, n. Here's the link to the historic data: https://coinmarketcap.com/de/currencies/noodlyappendagecoin/By the way, the maximum of coins is given with 2.981.420.050.000 NDL here ... . Must be wrong. - Or perhaps the universe is much older, than we know, haha. ;-) Check here to see what the current market contains: http://explorer.noodlyappendagecoin.net/As I recall it was traded as an NDL/BTC pair, so it shouldn't have really dropped below 1 satoshi, but, yes, I know you linked that "historic data", I think it might be incorrect. Thanks for the link! Three things. 1. Yes it could be obviously traded below 1 Satoshi on cryptorush.io in 2014. I remember very well that there had been trades at abt XXX^-10 BTC price range. They managed this problem by giving minimum amount ranges at which you were able to trade those currencies where this could happen. Lets say, e.g.: 5000 times (coins for) 0.01 Satoshi is payable as 50 Satoshi. So these numbers from coinmarketcap are right, but what about the maximum number of coins? So: 2. On the first page of this thread is given the following information: "Total generation: 13.798 billion NDL" On the coinmarketcap site nevertheless a strong differing number. Total generation here is: "2.981,420,050,000 NDL". That would mean 2981.42 Billion NDL. I don't know if we can proove which info is right, but THAT would make an important difference to me ... ! (Otherwise: For a pure fun coin, that would be not important, of course.) 3. And now, something totally different: I am mining now, too, and it has been much fun, but this night suddenly no blocks where found any more. Could it be due to the difficulty shift from 0.00043617 up to 0.06781466? Since hours no block has been found any more. ... I tried some things but situation remained same. Greez n.

The 13.7 billion is the correct number.
I just re-synced the explorer so it's now up to block # 1193409 It looks like someone hit it with a bunch of hashing power over the weekend / yesterday and slammed up the difficulty. But blocks are slowly coming. Let me throw a GTX at it for a little while.
If you trace it back the 1 billion coin address looks to be mined and built up over some time but has been inactive since Dec 2016 The #2 address was active in Dec 2017

Looks like someone with a beast of a miner is periodically dropping some hashes on NDL. That would explain the sudden spike in difficulty. Guess more and more people are seeing the value of the coin!

oh wow... nearly three years ago i put up a fulltime node at coins.dognose.net and set up a few hours daily cpu mining to keep the blockchain moving and a cheesy info website at http://coins.dognose.net/~ndl/ then promptly got busy and distracted and havent really looked-in since. oh, and an Abe block explorer that was a totally useless lump of crap i see a community has risen up now. even a new wallet assembled and an iquidus explorer. coolness! so, i limited myself to a few hours automated daily cpu mining after an initial period of real hashing to be 'fair' and not run away with a (more) massive booty of ndl, and to simply keep the chain moving and alive while the world slept. is my moderate behavior no longer necessary, can i get greedy again? arrrrrr!

You can get greedy, but we still need someway of getting the coin out there. Need to get it on an exchange so we get some kind of exposure. I need to get better hardware for the website / block explorer as I have to restart it at least once a week. -Dave -Dave
