There are many people who holds a lot, someone should get in touch with http://www.venganza.org/ and tell them that they should accept donations in NDL's so everyone can donate. This will help us spread the word

The email for Bobby Henderson at venganza.org is fsm.contribute@gmail.com or @henderob on Twitter. Soon as he starts accepting NDL we'll get some over to him to kick start the donation drive! Ramen.

Hey... so there's open source reddit tip bot software. I'm not much of a redditor myself, but I wonder if we started a tip bot, and gave some coins away to the Atheist subreddit if we couldn't start some interest?  I would rather not run the bot myself, but could if no one else wants too.  It would take some help to get the karma of the bot account up.

open source software to run a reddit tip bot.  https://github.com/vindimy/altcointip

I've had a look at your link and think setting up the tip bot might be beyond my skill level :-( This may be one for His Holy Noodliness ...

Yeah, its non-trivial.  It would fit right in with our pool server, but I'm afraid that it would require some level of maintenance and attention and I'm doing good to have a day job, a family and run these pools as is.  But, if that's what it takes to get this coin going I'm willing to step up.

I think it is still recoverable if we can come up with some new features to attract people back to the coin, especially with the low difficulty. I hate to say it but being a bit spammy probably wouldn't hurt.

By looking through the forums the main thing people seem to want from coins (other than big exchanges) are games and competitions. How about a banner / coin design competition for actual designs paid in NDL? Again, possibly a bounty for someone to setup a games site that accepts NDL?

The other thing might be straight advertising, I got the idea from this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412525.0, thousands of people a day being hit with a Noodle-tastic banner might help! (I have no affiliation with the site)

I liked it also, and even mined it nearly 1 full week.

But now I can't even solo mine, I've had one of my rig forking because the network hashrate is way too low.
Except for a real miracle, I don't see how this coin can survive.

The refusal of our great Holy Noodliness to put this coin on an exchange ASAP was respectable, but it may have been the source of this coin demise.

I'm still holding just in case, can't do anything else anyway.

Promotion from dev or promotion group he hired.
What only we, like very small community can do? I want to make a promo-video, but His Holy didn't answer me and didn't start competition for better logo.

A Point of sale might start selling NDL.
If so, then the exchanges might want to start trading it as well.

Avast, we'll 'ave another drive at it me old maties.

How's about a million NDL fer a new logo. Winner to be chosen in a week. 2 runners up will get 350,000 NDL each.

We'll also bounty anyone who sets up a games site with good traffic that accepts NDL to the tune o' 3 million dubloons. Must be a legit site though with traffic that can effective spread awareness of the coin.

Perhaps some of you would also like to try to get in touch with COFSM to encourage them to accept donations in NDL? We'd certainly make a sizeable NDL donation if that happened.

Get to it!

Can you at least try Facebook advertising? (no, not the paid one)
I don't think too many people follow that shitter thing you are so focused on.

Step 0: Accept "friendships"
Step 1: Convert your "profile" into a "page"
Step 2: Contact https://www.facebook.com/TheGoodLordAbove , https://www.facebook.com/thefsm etc etc
Step 2.1: Contact all groups and pages that have something to do with atheism
Step 3: Huh
Step 4: PROFIT!

Quick reminder, we're still 0% at Pool Of Pools, our hash rate has really dropped off.  I upgraded the site yesterday and added a web chat, try it out Wink
