I havn't been active in the community, but MRC has been on my watch list for awhile.  Got in @ 4 satoshi.  I'm looking at the mintpal order book.  I feel like buy orders are a little to thick to really see an uptick of worth.  If the mining continues, and not too huge of sell off, i'd say 10 satoshi.  If my math is close, that'd put it in the 500k market cap range... then the sell off unless the network keeps continuing.

I'm just ramblign pretty bad huh.

Best Wishes MRC

ummm Mintpal 2 wall is gone, now into the 3 wall is gonna melt

I'm doing a research project on coin distribution for both older and new coins. I'm interested on gathering some data for top addresses and how much of the coins the top100 have. This along with the number of people (addresses) actually holding any amount of coins.

I have some info from bitinfocharts on a few coins but I really do need some data on other coins along with less exposed or new ones.

If anyone knows an explorer with this feature drop a line.

Did anyone see what happened to FTC about a month ago?

A whale sat on one price at a buy, and then would sell at another, when it was advantageous and capable, would shift the price according to his wishes.  Wild estimates were made about how much the whale was able to make.  But with a price bounce between 1, to 2, to 3, to 4, its very easy to make some great money doing this same thing.

Well it could be, but there is not only 1 whale who is playing at mintpal, there are many now, so it should not be a problem. Anyway, how much you think MRC could go, 8, 20+?

Let's make a change. Change makes you better. Change makes you smarter. Change makes you healthier.

I don't have a hard a fast methodology, but i look at the market cap potential and kinda do the reverse math.  Vertcoin is @ $3 Million.  Currently MRC is @ $242K.  It would seem much to me, to see the market cap go over a million (realistically)  if there is a pump, couldn't see it going over $6 million cap.  So if you do the reverse math.... all aprox...

10 - 1.1 Mil Market Cap
28 - 3.3 Mil Market Cap
50 - 6 Mil market cap

So is there a pump going on, a fence sitter (my ftc case above) or true appreciation of a currency?

btw. mining speed is increased alot. I'm not in top15 list anymore Sad

I've not been looking in on MRC in a while. Are there any plans for a multipool as BC & now ZEIT have that have seen price go UPPPPP which is what this coin needs before its funeral is arranged  Roll Eyes Then again if mining is still happening will it be worthwhile?

yes but when the scrypt asics come out, do you think the multipools still going to rape the other scrypt coins? the price seems artificial - what happens if there were no multipool buying/paying out in BC/ZEIT to create a constant demand ?? do you think prices will go up?

I do, why wouldn't they? Survival of the fittest. Coin communities & devs doing the multipools to create more demand for their coin on exchanges. Even if it is for themselves, there IS a demand, it IS driving price up.

This coin was created to create a demand for an exchange, that devs hold a 50% stake in IIRC, so they're concerned about that more than this coin. It's going to be the community that make anything happen for this coin.

I would rather multipool mine to help build MRC price or other coins I hold than just to convert it to BTC/LTC.

Are there any like minded folk looking to increase price rather than hoping somebody else will do all the work. Hashcows has payout in BTC, BC, MINT & ZEIT now, it shouldn't be much for them to add MRC if there is enough demand for it.
