The LTC market is better for trading (Allcrypt) and recently it sold for 3 BTC Satoshi. Long-term coin, so good time to start collecting some. Smiley

Do you by any chance have a working download link for the wallet (Windows OS). It seems the nutcoin site is down?

Is nutcoins.com same as nutcoin.com... I can download a wallet from there?

I think it is a site that is dedicated to it as well. The original Nutcoin.com site is different, though.

I don't see how the community could take over this coin unless the dev handed over the keys to the car. If the main site is the only place for the wallet and the site is down, how do you start new wallets where all the existing mined coins would still be valid? It has been pondered previously, but the dev likes to throw just a little red meat to the wolves on occasion and just enough to make us think that he's still with us, but if he was active with his coin, he would know his main site was down. If you put it into your bookmarked pages, it takes about 10 seconds to check.

It's the market as a whole, the whole cryptocurrency market is in a sever downturn and who knows how long it's going to last. There are new coins basically dying on launch and existing coins with little to no mining activity at all. There are miners leaving mining due to the low profitability of mining against their electric costs, especially some of our EU buddies and their much higher electrical costs. It's not just Nutcoin, it's the whole market. I'm hoping that Nutcoin will be strong enough to weather this storm and come out the other side, but I think we're going to see a lot of existing coins die. I think the cause of our current problem is a supply and demand problem, we've got too many coins dividing up what money there is in the market. We are making new coins faster than money is coming into the market and as long as new coins keep being launched at the current pace, I don't know how bad it's going to get for the market as a whole. It might get worse yet before it gets any better.

It is best to divide investments over a couple of coins to secure yourself.

I do a lot of mining other coins, however, I did just minutes ago switch my rigs from Digibyte back to Nutcoin. They pretty much ran the price of Digibyte into the ground. My next goal is 40M Nutcoins, but at the current difficulty, I might have that real quick. In the meantime, I'll be investigating the next coin to mine.

***UPDATE*** There is still 3,027,000 nutcoins in the Bounty Wallet for the first working retail or gaming web site using Nutcoin as payment: NeF1nwSXeibenE7UbPzHnMviu2b4pf5MQX

I for one haven't lost faith, and thank you for informing us of the upcoming change, that makes it easier to help attract new people to our coin if we can show that we have a coin that is alive.  Wink

I still have faith in this coin, but soon in a month or 2 will shut down all my mining rigs since electricity costs is through the roof and spring /   summer soon here.
